Anyone know where I can get spine protector or a lower back supporter? I tried AH helmets but he didn't have stock and none will arrive for atleast a month or two.

Besides, I need something that is XXL in size

I've been thinking of picking up one too! Especially since most jackets come with foam padding as a spine protector. Was thinking of getting dainese. saw it in bluevolt's riding gears' photo. Shit expensive but the best in quality. Maybe just their half size instead of the full protector. I don't know if its worth buying something cheaper, consider you're protecting the most vital part of your body (waist up ), after your head.

If money not a problem, then Alpinestar T-RC-1 (Rs. 9.5K) is the jacket for u. PlanetDSG are giving good discount on it. As its an A*, you wont have any problems about its quality.

Will keep this one in mind for sure. Any other recommendations say in the 5-7K range? I plan to short-list 2-3 and then decide to pick up one.

i am using riding pants for last 5-6 months. having no problems what so ever. on the safety front, no need to worry. only ensure the armour is CE approved n all. dont judge them by the softness. even the riding jackets have the similar armour as of the pants.

but if ur budget is around 5-6K then RJays & DSG are the options for you.

About pants, RJays is good. My pants were torn at the cross section between legs but that was because of me trying to do a karate kid with it . Other options are also there like Joe Rocket & A*. depends on your budget.

i would recommend you to try the pants yourself before buying it. and yes it can surely accommodate 1-2 inches as it has elastic as well as velcro adjustments at waist.

Well I wanted something cheap! Can settle for Cramster lower back but looks like that is unavailable as well

Tried a couple of fox ones too. Effective they felt, but smaller they were

one black JK 17 is available in AH. it costs 3800 bucks. u can reduce another 50 bucks max.
dsg jackets r not available.
ls2 cross helmet will cost 3200 - 3500

only one guess i have to hurry then!!
i have almost finalised on jk 17 jacket and scoyco mk 10 gloves..guys these will be my first riding gears so what do u think about my choice??
and probably will get a ls2 or cross helmet too!

i know jk 17 is not a mesh jacket but is the ventilation satisfactory??and will it protect me from slight rains too?? i'll be using the jacket mostly for highway riding and trips only!

also if anyone is going to a h helmets would love to have some good company there!( good bargainers are most welcome )

Leh is cold and Rajasthan is hot. Two very different places. Mesh is suited best for the latter and textile with warm liner for Leh. I dont know if the Mesh jacket with warm liner will keep you warm enough in Leh. But the textile one might cook you nicely enough in RJ. Did i confuse you enough?

Guys A Studds Rhyno in the Studds website + shipping costs Rs. 1510/- In Castrol Bike Zone website it is mentioned as Rs. 1699 but some say they quote Rs. 1799. I am yet to go to JC Road or Lalbagh Road. Can someone tell me if 1510 is a good price to pay for this or what could be the right price?

Its good but doesn't have CE approved armor unlike RJays Octane.
