I doubt anyone here will have that specific jacket. Better look for user reviews in US websites like Motorcycle Superstore or the likes.Originally posted by sanjay8214 View PostHello Guys, i am in banglore for purchasing the riding gear...i checked 2 store but couln't find DSG triton of my size......anyways the orion motors showed be the alpinestart t-gasoline waterproof jacket which is for 12000 rs....now i want to buy a jacket for my laddak trip and i am not sure if the t-gasoline waterproof jacket would protect me from cold of the himalayas...

Cold weather proofing cannot be provided by one jacket, you have to wear clothes in multiple layers. Look at LL threads for more details, specifically one by trustvishvas.

T-Gasoline? It's highly unlikely or close to zero chances you might find a review of that jacket here. Thing is I'd say go for Scoyco if you're budget concious, works pretty well for Leh-Ladakh and lots of other brands. There is another jacket called Spartan Odysseus, comes in around 6000k it's built especially for Leh-Ladakh. Now I've not used this jacket, but has great reviews.Originally posted by sanjay8214 View PostHello Guys, i am in banglore for purchasing the riding gear...i checked 2 store but couln't find DSG triton of my size......anyways the orion motors showed be the alpinestart t-gasoline waterproof jacket which is for 12000 rs....now i want to buy a jacket for my laddak trip and i am not sure if the t-gasoline waterproof jacket would protect me from cold of the himalayas...

Send them a mail and they'd glady send you the details all you wanted.
Yes. PTR would have a chance coupled with their photographic stuffs, hope they win. Imagine it's a world-wide contest, PTR isn't the only one wearing RST right
Cheers anyway.
Cheers!

New DSG waterproof gloves & RJays waterproof boots review
Hey guys I'm back to inform you'll about 2 of my riding gears.
1. DSG Primal Gloves: Finally just when rains started pouring in Goa I got a pair of DSG Acqua Waterproof Gloves. To be honest I will not comment against the glove yet. I had worn it over by riding jacket's cuffs so water managed to seep in badly & made them soggy on their maiden ride. Hence as it is my mistake in wearing these gloves wrongly. Will post about it soon after using it for few more days in these HEAVY Goan rains
(uploaded a pic of the glove after riding it in rains)
2. Review of RJays Highway Touring boots: Finally after almost 3 months of getting my RJays Waterproof Touring Boots I now take the pleasure to give my review on these boots purchased from Bachoo Motors.
After using these boots extensively today in heavy first rains of Goa (including water splash & even walks on wet surface & water puddles on road) I'm really impressed with the boots & in my opinion they are the perfect VFM for anyone looking out for tall sized touring boots. I had not even worn a rainwear pant on top & was just wore them on my jeans with the jeans covering the taller section, not even a single drop of water entered inside at the end of the day. The socks were perfectly dry. I would really recommend these boots to anyone interested in touring.
The grip of these boots on wet surfaces is quite well too (Except on stone like granite & marble)
Hope this information was of any help to you'll. Feel free to ask any related questions

Yes that's called the dry bags, which is basically a waterproof bag to prevent water entering in delicate items such as cameras, maps or whatever which is important to not get wet.Originally posted by sanjay8214 View PostHello Guys,

Also, saddlebags do come with their own protective waterproof cover, which removes excess baggage/space of carrying those big rain covers. Saddlebags do come with rain proof cover, if you can't find oneself for your saddlebag, then I'd say go for after market waterproof covers.
Thanks, Akshay. Do post a review of the Octane jacket in such heavy rains, since most of the riders, a couple of pages back have asked the water-proofing ability of the Octane in heavy rain compared to its peers. Do let us know about that too.Originally posted by akshayhonda View PostHey guys I'm back to inform you'll about 2 of my riding gears.
