Unless I'm mistaken, this question has been answered several times before. Sorry to say this but this product is absolute crap. I've seen guys buy and wear this - cheap plastic with net material that will probably do more damage in a crash than good. Please ask yourself - what kind of product can you possibly get for Rs.1200/-??

Though this query has been answered day and night, let me chime in my two cents worth. I initially thought of buying the same for my cycling, off-roading that I do sometimes and turned to eBay for some assistance. For some crazy reasons I went on to read their customer reviews from that particular seller, and boy I was in for a surprise. The same protector, the guys review read, Cheap Cheap Cheap! The textile component placed on the elbow pads came off just three days from purchase and the rivets are way flimsy.

Rest is up to you. + it's too gross to wear this going outside. Unless you're dirt tracking, you're gonna look like a creature from other world for sure with this thing on.

i also read somewhere things like these armor are supposed to be worn inside a jacket because the armor quality is very high like the alpinestar bionic protector which have ce level 2 protection Alpinestars Bionic 2 Protection Jacket - 16,749.00Rs

eBay is always full of surprises. Maybe he got it through an international seller or reseller or it was just a stock clearance sale, this guy's lucky.

Hehe, alien, absolutely. That aside, you're right about the price to quality factor, not all low priced items are bad and high priced items are worth the buck. It's just a matter of us differentiating from "cheap to damn cheap" with a USP.

Scotchlite fading happens to most of the jackets out there, my friend's DSG jacket too was a brand new one, for the Leh ride, by the end of Leh ride, the piping was left shabby and it happened with my imported jerkin too. So it's not a big issue. Frequent washing, and wear and tear causes the material to lose its sheen. But in my jerkin, there is an area where the Scotchlite is, it's pretty dull, but it performs flawlessly at nights, no problem whatsoever. If you have a problem with the reflection itself, then you have a problem.

But from what I see from the photo, your reflective material is completely washed away on a particular patch both front and back. Sorry to say, but you have to live with it, it's RJays for us.

But i was researching ebay for the last 1 month for a jacket . I even posted a query on the same thread for the same .
In the course of my research ive found out that if you keep looking for a good deal on Ebay GEB you can find a steal sometimes .
But there are some things you should remember while looking at buying from GEB (don't tell me i dint warn you )
1. Ebay is totally safe . I trust them fully and their customer care is exemplary (some ppl may not agree But there are always detractors) .
2. You like something on GEB first step is to Google the item and look for reviews for the same .
3 . Look for video reviews of the likes of sportbiketrackgear.com etc etc .
4. Get the proper sizes - almost all the listings from ebay GEB are with a sizing chart , refer to it and order the proper size for you (you dont wanna end up with a jacket which dont fit you ,do you ?)
5. All ebay GEB items are customs and shipping paid in the price so no tension of customs seizing your shipment .

I am not a ebay employee or something but here are some deals which i found were worth the price .

Nothing much you can do mate! Any chance you scrubbed it hard\ dumped it in a washing machine with other clothes?

On a funny note: You can get some 3M reflective tape\ reflective paint thereby making you look awkward.

Anyone know a good place in Delhi to pick up a biking jacket? I have a Duke so thinking about picking up a DSG Rage Orange from Meandering India, Vasant Kunj (they still don't have it in stock though) or a Cramster Breeze 4.0? Looking at a mesh jacket because it's hot in Delhi. Anyone have any other suggestions for a jacket as well as stores in Delhi?
