I use Thor Sector (Performance Racing Store. Thor Knee Pads) .It is a tad above your budget at Rs 2400. But the quality is good and it doesn't have side rivets which scratch your bike. Down side is that it does not have an upper thigh strap (It is meant to be worn inside jeans).

You can also take a look at this Accessories, Knee Protector - Bionic and this Alpinestars Boinic Knee Guard - 5,250.00Rs (Way above your budget though)

Cramster Knee Guards, are by far the cheapest, plus it offers a peace of mind as it's made by Cramster, instead of purchasing an unknown brand, falsehood. At 1500 it's as close as you can get yourself protected. But don't expect exceptional quality out of it, it's just good for the price point it offers and offers very good protection.

I myself know a guy who was thrown from the bike away one divider to another and this thing just saved his knee cap. Phew! Still that terrible thing reels in front of my eyes.

      Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
      The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

      THE END

Buddy, I've used both. Spring for the THOR's - very well made and much better quality than the Cramsters. Not that the Cramster is bad - ok for the money, but the THOR is far better. Buy em only from PRS in Mumbai to ensure you get the genuine article.

Yes I have a pair actually. Again ok for the money but not on par with the THOR in my opinion.

I am currently using the TRG2 gloves and they are excellent. Its the perfect size for me but they are not meant for short rides as its difficult to get them on and off. But the quality is top notch and very comfortable once you get used to them.

What type of rides will you be using these gloves for?
Just flick the switch and twist my wrist
The beast comes alive, bringing me back to life
A tap to shift and flick of the wrist
The beast takes flight bringing me back to life
Kill the silence, tear apart the dark
The beast rips the road, hell yeah, i feel alive.

Totally agree TR2G is a great gloves, but not suited for short rides, the full gauntlets are a bit of bother for short rides, but the safety the full gauntlet provides is much more than others.
