Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Since I hate chopping up my bike , I use a Xena disk lock. (It is not available in India - but you will get similar items on Ebay)
XENA Security Disc-Locks, Alarms and Accessories for Motorcycles and Scooters . It is very compact and bloody loud.

Our own aargee from Chennai uses the xena disc lock. Have seen in and saw its functions. Awesome. If you can get if from USA and have someone bring it down, it's the best. Else in eBay India there is a seller cart2indiaonline who has it, or will list it if you request...

Exactly, Lijo is absolutely right. Moreoever XENA is an excellent lock, feels really rock solid and the finish is superb, fully glossy steel ones. One of my friend bought it for this Ninja, and it's really uber cool. And my, the sound really wakes everyone in the city, tears your ear drums apart.

XENA is usually a little on the costlier side, 5k and above, but it's worth the price.

        Cheers!

I use the XX6. It fits most of the discs available here and it is awesome - except for the part in which neighboring kids in the apartment come and buzz the alarm just for the heck of it . The sensitivity of the alarm varies according to where you mount the lock - if on top of the disc (12:00), it is very sensitive.

This is just a lock - no alarms. The specs look good though.
Found this on the same page you mentioned - with an alarm. But I have not read a review of this device anywhere. http://www.tradus.com/viro-alert-bik...AMB26SJFHUNCJO
If you plan to invest in a Xena, I got my XX6 from UK for 45 pounds. The spare batteries also need to be bought as I don't think they are selling CR2 batteries in India.
Hope it is of some help to you.

Actually the same is sold in eBay VIRO which states as Made in Italy, and seems pretty good.

Viro Alert Bike Safety Alarm Disc Lock (First Time in India) | eBay

Check this link out. I contacted the seller months ago for a potential purchase, but just kept postponing it. The finish looks good, and says Italian, and so did the seller, and gave one year warranty.

              Cheers!

I too have recently bought it (XX6 model) - absolutely great - requires no modification to bike so no issue of voiding warranty or too much battery consumption - and has the right sensitivity... Buy it if you can - its a worthy buy

That's cool. So you bought it from overseas right, there isn't a valid retailer here in India that sells XENA, at least to my knowledge. If you can throw some light on that, that'd be real great.

                  Cheers!

You are right - there is no retailer in India. Cheapest would be from America (around 65 to 70 USD) but I knew no one coming from there. I got it from HongKong through a friend - costed me about Rs. 5700, but he gave me an extra sensor/alarm module as well as a springy plastic reminder cable - probably there was some scheme going on... All in all, not a bad deal as I really wanted it as soon as possible once I had a bike - just gives a bit more peace of mind...

Nope. Not even one soul here I know of bought the jacket, though there were a few souls who were asking for reviews. For most part, I think they are okay-ish mesh jackets. For a good review, I must see them, wear them or someone who uses it should invest some time in providing a good review along with photos.

If you've bought it, do post your review with PHOTOS, lots of them, as this is a new kid in the block

Yes leather sets with time, sometimes it is just tight, and when it's sunny it's flexible, when it's cold, it just shrinks up and makes crinkles in your palm and hand with reddish rashes after a prolonged period of driving say 100s of KMS with stopping, happened to me.

If your wrist pains, stop the bike, flex your muscles a bit and then carry on, hardly takes five mins, I do that all the time. But set-in will take in if you keep on wearing it daily.

                                Cheers!
