Buddy I told you its like a pocket or something. The one in mine can hold a 7 inch tablet easilyOriginally posted by Aytas_sss View Post
This zipper right at the back near where the butt is supposed to start is intriguing me. Is it a connector for riding pants or something like the ones in Spartans?
(just to give an idea about the size). Is yours the same too?

BTW, is this wear covered under warranty?I am pretty sure it isn't covered in warranty, man. This means that DSG is having quality issues.Originally posted by Xzibit Roll View PostBuddy I told you its like a pocket or something. The one in mine can hold a 7 inch tablet easily

Xzibit Roll ,Man,I've never heard of a pocket with a zipper that opens downward.
That'd just be impractical. Also, think about it. You have a tablet tucked up near your pelvix and in the event of a crash, the tablet shatters.
What'd happen then?

. I use that pocket to keep my rain liner and sometimes some documents. But I too have exactly no idea about what that pocket is for

Nice going aytass. Just the padding is -red as opposed to yellow in the Fox ones. But this new one from cramster is just an even another knockoff from an already leading knockoff
Deville, that's great. Keep us posted.
Cheers!

If I were to hazard a guess, I'd say that's what the pocket is for - to store the liner.

Long story short !Originally posted by ryan.virgo View PostHas anyone used Rjays Swift Jacket during the monsoons?. The tags that come along with say its water proof.
No jacket gonna be full waterproof no matter how much you search.
So get a jacket you like.
It will come with a rain timer serve the purpose of inside but only a good raincoat / Wind-cheater would help you in heavy rain like Mumbai area.

If you are buying a riding jacket of size L get a rain coat of size XL/XXL whichever fits better because in heavy downpours nothing (I mean no riding gear nothing) saves you dry like a rain coat

Short Ride Review on Scoyco JK17
For the comparison review kindly refer to page 306 of this thread. A fellow member has written a brilliant review.
Recently used it for a round trip of 100 kms. On the highway with the air inlet and outlet ports open the ventilation is good.
On the highway no sign of sweat at all.
In a city like Bombay with the traffic, I was totally drenched in sweat especially during the afternoon sun.
The quality of the protectors seems up to the mark considering the price of the jacket. They fit perfectly on the shoulders and elbows.
Review on Scoyco MC09 city gloves
Got it for 600 INR. Ideal for a basic city use and protection.
Being a mesh glove the ventilation is decent for city usage. Advisable to people looking for a basic pair of gloves especially over the probiker ones.
Stitch quality seems little doubtful. Hopefully should last another good 8 - 10 months.
Comfortable and provides good grip.
Somehow the index finger of my right hand is usable to operate the touchscreen :P
Next in line
The new cramster knee protectors seems nice. Will have to try it on to decide on the same.
Waiting for the SPG ones as well.
Anyone knows a good place to get reasonable priced raincoat to use while riding the bike in Bombay??
Thanks

My Review For Spartan ProGear -Icarus-.
Market Price : 4,300 Rs
Features quoted by Company :
First Let the pics do the justice to this Awesome stuff @ WoW Price.
The Overall Look :
Its very impressing.
Full Black with Black mesh and Black stuff and Black Zip's.
Even the White thread used are not pure white, kinda gray / blackish.

The logo on Left side of chest gives Good Look.

Care Lines :

The inside :

Inside Mesh :

The Chest Mesh :
As the light is even visible from the double high quality mesh its very good for air ventilation.

CE Approved :

The Neck :
Got a spongy kind of material around the neck for softness.

The Waist :
On the back side is the Waist adjusting buttons.

Look :
Icarus Strap & Logo on buttons.

Wrist Adjust :
Chain + Strap = Full Fit

Arm Adjust :
Arm adjustment buttons for loose & tight Fitting.

Pocket Mesh :
Even the Pocket are of mesh for full Air Ventilation.
The inside papers are visible :P

Inside Pocket :
The waterproof pocket and quality Zip's.
The pocket is big & deep enough to keep Wallet, Mobile & Bike Documents.

The Zips :
The logo and name printed on Zip's always impressing no matter what product it is.

The Protectors :
The Shoulders guards.

The Back Look :

Back Protector :

The Rain Liner :
Its good enough to be used alone in rain.
And fits very well, looks good.
The quality is hell more than those normal Wind Cheaters.

Inner Liner :
Even the Rain Liner got inner body mesh like jacket.

Liner Zips :
And they maintained the Look here too.

Riding in City :
The mesh at arm & chest is completely working for air flow.
As long as you're on a moving bike. You won't feel that you're wearing a heavy riding jacket.
Riding On Highway's :
After you get sweat and then moving bike gives you good cool feeling like we get in Tshirt's.
Maintains good air inside packed jacket.
I loved the way I could feel air on my skin while riding from 0-140 speed while riding under Bright sunlight on Highway Near Nasik, Maharshtra.
The chains are of good quality and I can easily zip them up leaving both hand on my Bike in just 5-6 seconds to the neck easily.
The Wrist chain & strap once closed, there's no need to move your wrist , hand or to do something else to re-fit it after some k.m.'s.
The soft spongy thing at neck gives cotton type of feel.
And does not scratches the neck like normal jacket & their stitching.
The rain liner is of very good quality and fitting.
I used it once without the jacket for 40km of ride. It was good to use and not like the cheap wind cheater look.
The only problem was being rain liner, you won't get Air :P
And in Mumbai, its already hell of sweat.
Overall Fitting :
Mine is Size -M-
My height is 5'9"
Weight : 58-59kg (Under 60)
And the fitting is like its made for me on special Order.
Just loved it.
Any other query is anybody got regarding this Spartan ProGear -Icarus-.
Feel free to ask.
