Since you haven't mentioned a budget, ~11k is the minimum you'd need for a decent pair of riding jacket and pants.

This feels like filling up a questionnaire. If you'd have done some research, you would have known the answers or at least a list of options by yourself.

Anyway, in jackets, you have the Spartan Icarus, Spartan Helios, DSG Nero, DSG Rage, Cramster Breezer, Rjays Swift, etc.
For pants, you have the Spartan Odysseus and pants from DSG & Cramster.

A combination of most of these jackets/pants should not exceed 12-13k

And I had the same dilemma months back when trying upgrading to KNOX back armor. But to my vain it was close to 1800 and shipping a whopping 1200 rupees so close to 3000 Rupees for a genuine KNOX back armor. Since then dropped the upgrade. But still searching the web for the best solution.

SAS TEC is an excellent armor and if I'm not wrong Sunny uses them too.

The only dilemma is not all jackets would fit the same armor, the size thickness and the very material that holds all comes into play.

Just a though, [MENTION=11348]krish[/MENTION] do the guys near your town sell KNOX stuffs? Level 2 back armor is what I am really looking forward for and a KNOX branded one, and will ping you personally.

Sas tech as said to me is fitting onto spartan and a* jackets without any issue, so if the rjays back foam is similarly shaped then it should fit in, now since only spartan users can get knox , the sas tech should work out as a cheaper alternative if you want it, I can easily arrange it for you. Just PM me if you want it. It is the same guy , who i went for the givi top boxes.

If I were you.
Stayed away from Rjays Swift.

Icarus is good built jacket for 4300rs.
And Spartan's Pant looks awesome too.

You must have noticed Param's and Melville's Pant. ?
And good pair of gloves also to have a proper set.

Same goes for Cramster.

I got Cramster jacket,gloves, Balaclava and riding pants (or knee guard soon).

Man just keep on moving even @ 15-20kmph speed.
Cramster Breezer keeps on passing the air.

Dude, no offence but I really mean it - your posts/replies are really cute & fun to read; indicating the presence of an innocent (from the heart) & enthusiastic biker in you. Every time I read (read FOLLOW), it brings a giggle in my face. It is good to see an always active xBhpian \m/. I hope, I can meet you in person the next time I happen to be in Mumbai!! Bro, as discussed on the call, for such things it's best you spend a bit more and get good quality stuff. Personally I regretted buying the RJays (which itself is good) instead of JR (which is much better). To save 3K I went for RJays Octane, instead of JR Pheonix. Things like jackets etc. last you for at least 3 years .. and hence prove to be a better investment as compared to say gloves.

I know this is a stretch for your budget, but think about getting this one:

Or else, as compared to Zeus, I'd still recommend, at worst go for this:

Finally the one below is the one I have. It's a three piece modular jacket for summer/rain/cold and is working beautifully in the monsoons. By three piece what I mean is the monsoon protection isn't a liner but instead another jacket (!!) to be worn on top of your main (summer) jacket which has the protectors.
