Hi can anybody review Probiker Gloves i came across a friend who is having these golves which he bougt it for 450rs is it a good option to go with

Those are the cheapest local gloves available in market and completely useless.

But yes it can save from sunlight.
It can give a good feel to ourself of being safe but actually not.
And it can make other aunty uncle say "Wow! Kid you are into racing?"
Because they don't have knowledge about these items.

Better stay away from these gloves

Get something that can save you.
Gloves will cost you minimum of 1-1.2k for the starting range.

I can give you brand name and you have to look on their websites and other places for their available models as per your budget

1. Cramster
2. DSG
3. Zeus
4. Spartan ProGear
And many more if you just google them out.


Note : These numbers are totally random and don't think that I've compared them rank wise / quality / name or anything.

The pair of gloves is Probiker (not bad for beginner). The 'Fox' set is for stunt riding & unless you're into that I wouldn't recommend it - Its not a jacket fully but an armor instead. The knee guards do their job well.

The ebay ones are definitely junk, any idea where we can get the original ones online(or in Hyderabad)? Motorsport.com has the original ones for 1248, but shipping and taxes put together makes it close to 2.8k!

Probiker gloves are something like a cyclist's gloves. As funny as it sounds, I use a fake Probiker made Alpinestar gloves for my local commute, office etc. And if you ask me, for local jaunting it does it's job more than enough. But the day it comes for me to hit the highway, I use the leather gloves.

Textile rips easily when you take a fall, whereas leather resists abrasion quite well.

Genuine ones cost upwards for 4k for FOX stuff. Even fake A* as the new Vapor model so ditto as the real one, sold for a mere 1.5k. Man oh man! Fakes are flooded as they can be. But I'd suggest you go for the Vapor knee guards on the PlanetDSG for a genuine one. It's 3.4k but personally not a big fan of this particular design, but you can try them.

Or you can check for KNOX stuffs, and outdoortravelgear.com. They too are a tad costly.

True that, fakes are all over the place. The cheapest ones that I have found are the Thor Sector @ PerformanceRacing.in at 2.4k. Guess these will be originals ones as its from a reliable store. Had seen the Cramster Bionic ones and they were appealing at 1.8k, but when I tried it, was a really bad fit!
