Went through few reviews.
I am inclined towards SPG icarus and then the cramster breezer 4.0 if I couldn't get icarus or if I dont get the right size. How does cramster k2k compares wrt breezer. I will be in mumbai on 20st nov and I want to buy it from an outlet rather than online. So I want to have a few options with me so that if I dont get/like/fit one I can go for other. So What jackets should I keep as options other than icarus.

Budget: 5K, can be streched a bit.
Jacket: preferably all weather.

Go for a long length jacket.

K2k is more safer than Breezer but hot in summer.
Breezer is really helpful in Summer.

The more airy = More mesh = Less Safe



Anyone here who's using / tried the Cramster Spine Protector ?
That thing looks decent but I'm now more inclined towards safety than decent looks and colors.

Anyone here who has a Uncle / brother / relative coming from US ?
All I want is a Back protector :/

For Jackets around 7k you may look at the Cramster Breezer/K2K, Spartan Helios, RJays Swift, DSG Nero and AGV Solare ............... search the thread for any reviews in case you need

LS2 jackets are over-priced and does not enjoy much appreciation in the thread

What I wanted to say was that if you search across this thread then you will realize that the overall product doesn't justify that price tag

6500 is what you can afford.
And looks fine to you but the jacket is not worth that money.

Look for a jacket that can help you from getting Scratches.

Just a small speed breaker accident and even after wearing jacket, I've paid 3000 till now to doctor in last 6 days.
And now I regret why didn't I purchased the back / Spine protector before.

And I'll make sure my next saving goes for my next jacket with some awesome guards / protectors no matter how bad it looks !

If any of you is interested in importing riding gears from the U.S here is an online shop called
MotoSport out of Tualatin, OR (Oregon),USA which you may find helpful or even useful. They have prices
in Indian Rupees and you have the option to choose all inclusive door-to-door service
(meaning duty paid door-to-door service) or you can opt to pay the duty at the time of arrival of the goods.
I am not recommending them by any means as I have not used them yet, I just found them while searching
for online riding gear shops. If any of you order anything from them let us know how it turned out.

I myself using a Spartan Helios with Knox Armour ( Shoulder & Elbow ) since around 10Months and found it very worthy for the price tag it carries ( Earlier 6300/- now around Rs 6800/-) and I have checked LS2 jacket personally and found it not that worthy & even am not sure whether the armours coming with LS2 are really CE certified !

I suggest you to go with Helios and also do have a look at Rynox jacket if possible( i really liked Rynox after market service ).

Can anyone in chennai guide me to some place where i could look for riding jackets. Just visited Spartan pro gears and saw helios but it doesn't have a winter liner. Cuz i am from uttarakhand and ultimately i will b using the jacket there.

Spartan gives you an option of buying either the rain liner or the winter liner with the jacket. Doesn't it? Pick the latter.

I want to know how comfortable they are if we wear them for long hours straight ?

I wore mine for 16 hours straight on our recent dudhsagar trip, no discomfort of any sort all you got to do is make sure that you strap it on tight such that it doesn't move when your leg folds. You almost forget that you have them on after a little while

I was thinking of buying these.
With news of more n more accidents, its kinda scary riding after dark.
