Thanks but I'm not going for the Kombat as of now because my max budget is upto 2K or 2.2k. I was planning to buy the Rynox Rampage or Spartan Phaeton.Originally posted by Sandeep Patnala View PostLiving long depends on fate, living a fulfilled life depends on yourself.

Phaeton on the other hand is a bit costly, maybe better also. Can't comment on them.

I have already gone through this review. Actually after reading this review I thought about the Rampage and it is also on the cheaper side. Before that I was considering the Phaeton.Originally posted by nadz11.ns View PostRampage is a good product, I am also using one.

Now I have to choose between these two. Spartan products are always known for its VFM even though its priced a bit higher and also I coudn't find a Rynox dealer in Pune and their website is also under maintenance.Living long depends on fate, living a fulfilled life depends on yourself.

User Review of the DSG Nitro and Cramster Twister gloves | Biketoq
this is what I read about dsg nitro.maybe down to rough usage but twister held up better.also revive was supported by a t-bhp user n-aditya since he has extensively used it.in person the nitro looks and feels awesome.but functionally according to revive's review those vents it has works well.
my other options are cramster twister which is the cheapest most vfm gloves I think available as of now.looks boring thou.however if it gives same functionality as other gloves at lower price then its a win win.mesh in lateral aspect of thumb.still good reviews overall for this product.
thirdly phaeton. read just now that prices slashed if ordered online until stocks lasts.but what about shipping?.looks awesome.second to nitro that is.its short cuffs too.not full leather.at 1.5k(2.1k otherwise) is it a better deal than twister?? or should I opt for the costlier dsg ones?? nitro or revive in that case?
also now considering rjays gloves.the 2.5k one.does it offer real life better quality/protection over others?? would it last longer for sure than Indian ones??
Hey mate, from the 3 gloves you have mentioned I would recommend DSG Revive anyday. It has been a favorite product for many many members here, you can be sure of that if you search this thread with the keyword Revive. Now compared to spg phaeton, the revive would be a full leather glove, which is better anyday in terms of protection. Now when it comes to the Cramster Twister, here is another review of the same, a long term one for that matter.
Personally , i read that review in the link you provided, in that the nitro and twister seems to be having really bad reviews as per the pics, do note that using a leather gloves in heavy rain and if not dried properly and used will lead to such problems, these gloves are not meant to be used in the rains. So do act likewise.
Cheers

Try searching for Scoyco gloves.Originally posted by Anuj_Gupta View PostGuys I'm total noob in riding gears..and short on money ,recently had an accident on my p200ns, and now my eyes have open ,
Please suggest good riding gloves in Delhi ( range 600-750 bucks max)
And what will be minimum price of a decent jacket...?
Also I believe window shopping is cheaper than online ( bargain) so suggest some wholesale markets ,or shops of riding gears in Delhi ..,thanks in advance.

Will cost Rs. 800/- max. You can even bargain and get them for 600/-. (I personally got em' for 800/- bt many have bought them for less) Very good durability. Decent during rainy season if your ride is less than an hour a day.

Yeah did it with me. However I said I will come collect it later on but never went. Its been an year and the Helios still rocks. He is the only guy in the area who is authorized dealer of SPG products. (He is also mentioned on their website) and so he overcharges sometimes even after giving the xBhp discount :POriginally posted by skv View PostThanks dear. Today I bought it (SPG Iracus) from A.H. Helmets. But after buying he didn't provide the bill rather told me that he will send it to my address. Did they do the same with you?

Is rynox rampage available in S size?My wrist size is 8 inches as measured from this video
How to measure your glove size, the correct way to determine glove sizing. - YouTube
Medium is for 9 inches.Which size would suit me?
I am going to get spartan icarus too.
For jackets too size chart is absent,I am 5'7 and 63kg.Should I go for M or S size?
Of course I won't be buying online. But normally size S is not available, have to order.
Anyone with Icarus can confirm the size needed for me?"Vibes transmitted from crank shaft to frame, then through the bearings of the head stock and into the stem where it meets the triple clamp and into the clip-ons where it is greeted with great pleasure by my hands"-ratfighter mod rtr

re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
The Teknic chicane textile will cause you to sweat since textile doesn't provide much air flow without proper ventilation vents. I have a Teknic supervent mesh jacket (review a couple of pages back) that is mix of mesh & textile and has min. weight, supercomfy & excellent summer time air flow. As for triton, it is designed for cold weather & fry you in summer. Alternatively, i would suggest you also look at SPG helios & Hyperion since they seem to fall in your budgetOriginally posted by Sird View PostI'm interested in buying a new Jacket after my last crash and not able to Trust these Short jackets Anymore.

Mate, do not consider the Triton, just not for the south weather.
Alpinestars are great , but since i saw the severity of you r injury, would like to remind you that the back protector is almost useless and you would have to invest another 4.5k to get a CE approved armor. Where as in the other brands like cramster , dsg and spartan, the back protector is double density foam, which at least holds better than the one's that comes in a*. But then the elbow and shoulder armor are the great potential in the a*.
About teknic i do not know.
Would recommend spartan helios or hyperion for you , since i use the same i am very much sure of how good it is.
Do check out all options and reach to a decision.
Cheers

re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
krish2778, I was talking about longevity wrt proper maintenance as well.I don't intend to use it in rain!
rjays use thicker leather.according to revive user n-aditya himself in tbhp.hence the query.
may i request a shootout comparing revive, nitro and the rjays.the comparison could include the Zeus and Spartans as well if they fit into that price range.
the cramster or rjays(if available) is what I intend to go for.I just want to be sure of the thicker leather info on rjays.
nitro has an extra aramide liner.revive not so.specs wise nitro seems to be better?๔ยкє ҭђгєє ภเภєҭұ เภ ๓ұ שєเภร

krish2778 - Teknic also comes in dual density foam back protector as well as Knox CE shoulder & elbow guards. Teknic is kinda like SPG since i noticed some of their products are really VFM & rather famous brand in US like joe, etc. Rest, i agree with you

Yes, none of the gloves stand long in rain.
Now as far as a shootout is concerned.
As far as cramster is concerned , i would only recommend the TR2G , it is a full gauntlet and is really a very sturdy and good glove to wear, people even use it on race tracks without any hassles, protection is also good and leather is sufficiently thick.
Now coming to DSG, I would suggest Revive over Nitro, just because the Revive has much more positive review and recommending than the nitro, and there must be a very good reason too. It is very much VFM as the DSG range is concerned.
Now coming to Rjays, I am not aware of the quality of their products, have seen them upfront and felt them , but have never used them so I can't give my word on that.
As far as Zeus, I never felt it to be good enough, it is overly priced and seems to bulky to be used comfortably, yes, i have tried out the Zeus gloves too.
Spartan, I am using a Spartan Pegasus for about 7 months now , and i am content with it, check the review in my signature and i have pointed out a few places where they could have improved in that particular gloves. Not sure about the latest addition form the spartan range, but i think i found a review of that from this thread itself, so do search it out.
Would like to suggest you to consider rynox too.

I am familiar with Teknic. It is a very good brand, and i really appreciate SPG bringing it to us.
The only reason I mentioned i don't know about teknic is because i haven't seen the product in person , that they have bought recently.
Cheers
