oops... I meant A* reflex only. Actually the reflex have been discontinued and the reflex that is being sold as A* is not the original one. For Rynox you can directly contact Rynox gears and ask them for the kombat gloves. You can also try dsg revive or carbon and spg ares. You can order them online, as all these gloves have standard sizing and you should get a good fit. If in doubt about the size, go to a store and try the sizes there.
You can go through this thread for dealers in your city: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/universa...ies-india.html

Both of them have got good reviews. The flux has an upper hand being a leather glove and there is a cramster dealer in pune where as there is no rynox dealer in pune.
But today i got to know that a rynox dealership will be opening in pune after about two weeks. So should i go for the flux or wait for the rampage (i hate waiting though ).
        Plz help.

        Cheers
Both Flux and Rampage are good glove, but Rampage having textile component and priced more or less in the same fence, I'd suggest Flux, as a matter of fact I always suggest Flux. If you can't find a dealer, consider an online purchase.

        AH Helmets, oshiwara, jogeshwari.
I got a pair of knee guards for 1.5k. It was A*, well a first copy of that. The guy in the store himself told me.
I had went for a fox raptor, as it wasn't there, I got this one. Without researching a bit I went ahead and bought it. It was a* reflex. I reached home and started searching for the same and saw that it is worth ~$28. Rs.1.8k. For the original. The knee guard itself is decent. Fits to my leg good. And is a strong and hard.
Am I been cheated here ??? He said "Harley wale ko to hum ye A* original bolke 3.5k me bechte hai"!!!
He did have rynox stealth jackets and Kevlar gloves...but I'm a bit reluctant and paranoid in buying from him...
        What do I do ???
I need a good touring gloves that goes above my wrist and all season. Jacket... :-(

If my memory serves me correct, the A* is resold by PlanetDSG and they have the Vapor and the Reflex, though the latter isn't available now. But when I last saw them they were upwards for 2k and vapor which being the cheapest followed by Bionic and Bionix SX all these are sold minimum at a cost of more than 3k, so anything less you can be rest assured it's a fake one and priced at the right level.

Though you can get good quality FOX Raptor, AXO knee guards in and around the 1000 buck mark in eBay and elsewhere, 1.5k is a tad costlier.

But you've bought it now, so for now enjoy!

        Cheers!

Yeah i'm going for the flux. There are cramster dealers in pune so its not a problem but for the rampage only online purchase was the only option as of now.
I'm a bit skeptical about purchasing online due to size differences.

          Cheers

Not really. It doesn't make much a difference, 1 cm here and there isn't a big deal, just measure your palms as indicated in website, get an approximate figure and go for it, make sure you don't go for too larger ones, smaller ones will expand, but bigger ones will fell flimsy and out of slack.

            Cheers!

              True.
When I bought mine, they were a little on the tighter side, but now they fit like perfect. Leather will expand very slightly and take the shape of your hand.
Loose fit will also hamper with proper operation of levers.

              Ride safe and have fun.

You can visit Sunshine Helmets in Thane Most of the DSG & Rynox products are available.
Also Outdoor Travel Gear near Carter Road, Bandra has Rynox / DSG / Cramster products available.

I have personally purchased products from both these dealers hence suggesting.

Well this is a balaclava. It is worn under the helmet and to wear it or not its one's own decision if i say. As far as the use is concerned there was a discussion about balaclava in this thread a few days back. Check it out and you will get to know.

I have rarely seen anyone using balaclava in the city. Most of them use it only for long distance riding(at least i do )

Sir have a look at criminal stats, ,a powerful bike +balaclava =big trouble in Delhi
The reason I didn't brought a black pulsar, was and is the same
95% of bikes stopped for checking in Delhi are Black Pulsars.
And I need to avoid cops at all costs
I'm a high tempered guy and things go wrong with cops every time.

Because its used by robbers in movies to hide their face/identity.

I use it daily and have not been stopped by any cop for this till now.

May be the cops here fear robbers

But one practical concern which I face is, it comes to my eyes from sideways and feels irritating and deviates my concentration from road. I am using one from spg, which is otherwise good on other aspects like comfort etc.

Edit: I don't know about the situation in delhi.
