    Sandy,

I am currently using the Spartan Proteus riding pants. The pants look and feel really good. Very comfortable, good robust construction with a few mesh panels thrown in for proper air flow. The accordion stretch panels and Dynatec layer work well too. Waiting to put it through a longer ride.

Even I was looking at the RJays pants, and somehow the SPG ones felt better to me. Grabbed it as soon as it was available.
You can take the ride away from me but you cannot take the rider out of my soul.........

Guys, What can I do if my DSGear Riding Pants are loose from the waist? They're "L" Size, same as my fine-fitting jacket.
I've used them already on BIC Noida KTM event (15 March) so can't exchange them. Plus, they don't have belt hooks. They have only 2 fabric hooks on each side, on the inside and they seem useless.

Secondly, on the rear of the pants, there is a zip, does that zip fit with jackets? (My DSG Jacket is old, and it doesn't have an attachment for that zip.)

So, what can I do to use the riding pants now?

There are a couple of user reviews on this thread about Spartan Perseus.
There is one review by Pranav if I remember correctly. Try to search for it.

You can use clip-on suspenders. They are not the coolest thing, but they work.

I have gone through the reviews on this thread but most were first time reviews, did not find any long term one, was looking for the same.

I think any of the alteration tailors might help you with tightening the waist with stitches like they do it on denims, important thing is are the guards to be on the right spots.

I have been using the perseus knee guards for some time. The knox armors are very good and the fit of the guards are pretty good. I dont feel uncomfortable wearing it for extended period of time. The Velcro straps are good help in preventing the guards from sliding from their place over the knees. You can either wear it under jeans or over it, securing it with just the Velcros.
That said I don't use it for my daily commute to office as I don't want to keep wearing it for the whole day. I didn't feel like wearing it on my jeans, as it tends to slide, if I move my legs. Hope the brief review helps.

I also had this problem when wearing it under my jeans, the thing starts sliding while walking, but on riding or shifting leg position it stood its place. But sliding while walking was a bit of a bother.

                      Cheers

Bought the latest breezer 4S from cramster. Looks and feels really good and IMO ended up being better than Helios or Icarus.

Can you post some pics of the jackets along with the armors and inside shots?

                            Krishna,

Put on the knee guard while standing up or sitting with a straight leg. This would ensure that the guard is strapped on when your leg circumference is at its smallest, as your muscles are not flexed. Once you bend your knee, the elastic bands at the top and bottom will stretch to accomodate the expansion of your muscles. Also remember that the straps pull outwards like on cricket guards.

                            Hope this helps.

Sure, will do today once I get back home.

I do realize that this must have been discussed before, but I need to know if there are any riding gears specifically designed for the comfort of our bums. ZMR's seat is pretty comfortable but it starts to feel uneasy after 200-250 km of ride. Also i am planning to buy a bicycle shorts type thing to prevent rashes but looking for something to enhance the comfort of the seat on long rides.
The other thing I am looking for right now is a VFM hydration pack.
