Guys, does anyone have any experience with Nerve jackets? I have not heard of this brand and it seems its only available in Ryderz at Karol Bagh. One of my friends is looking to buy it.

Bought the following gear last week...

        Spartan Helios Jacket
        Spartan Pegasus gloves
MT Axxis Evo Limited edition Black Helmet

Looking for dual purpose ankle length riding boots, need to look casual with ample protection.
How about Orazo Picus or Quencha forclaz 500/600??

Also planning to get Via Terra Velox saddle bags. Anyone using them?

Actually I want something which can pass on as casual shoes, which are going to be my daily wear.
I will get touring boots later on.

Orazo Picus looks good, but want to check them out personally before ordering.

Having used Orazo in the past, I can vouch for their quality, really good boots for the price, the fit and comfort level is perfect for use all day long and IMHO they are better than what other popular companies like woodlands etc offer.

A friend of mine who has used both Orazo and JCB boots, though claims that the JCB ones are better wrt breathablity and maneuverability and of course price. Don't mean to confuse just making sure you got all your options.

You can also try out Quechua Forclaz 500. Optimal for riding, trekking and also can easily used in water.
Can also be used as casual shoes and it's better than woodland

I am using the Quechua for the past 2 months now.
While the shoe has been great so far, it feels a little awkward while shifting, since the toe part is kinda bulky to get underneath the gear shifter comfortably.

                  Otherwise, its a good option.

Can anybody suggest a shop to buy the dsg titron riding jacket in Tamilnadu, preferably in Chennai or Coimbatore. So i could try the jacket on before buying it, as I'm not satisfied with the fit of my M sized dsg phoneix, its a bit loose.

I've switched from woodland to forclaz 500(since my woodland torn up after 6yrs of rough usage) and i'm totally loving it.

IMO Pros of Quechua Forclaz 500 over woodland,
                        - better wet grip (woodland fails big time here)
                        - comfortable(feels cushiony compared to woodland)
                        - comparitively flexible.
                        - better quality laces(i've changed 4 pairs of laces on my woodland as they got ripped).
                        - comparitively breathable.

I had the same issue for 2 weeks, after that my toes figured it out.

Well that post confused me alright!! I am looking for a pair of budget boots as well. I had almost fixed on the ozaro picus, yet to try on though, an will make my final decision after trial ONLY.

But now being presented with an option of jcb, which seems better in all the aspects... Wouldn't mind giving it a try.. Any retailer in Mumbai you know of where these can be tried before buying?

Only option I saw online was the safetyshoebazaar website, and it doesn't have th combater from jcb which looks perfect for the job.
Would appreciate any pointers in that direction.

I own a pair of forclaz 500, and I am extremely impresses with its performance during my 15 day Himalayan trek. The pair is just awesome and served very well.
Although when I tried it with a motorcycle... It didn't quite go so well.. Shifting as someone pointed out is a real problem.. And as the forclaz is designed to be a trekking boot, it does not provide much flexibility in the ankle area, which is much needed for shifting gears. My ankle started paintings after a long ride, and hurts everytime I ride wearing those.

                          Hope this helps
                          Cheers!

Orazo boots are all round very good boots, very comfy, provide excellent levels of water-resistance and good build quality. The Picus and Coot series are all commuter-ish based and do the work well. But bearing one thing in mind is the sweat issue, I feets usually sweat a lot, but with Orazo you can fell the perspiration inside the boot, not venting out to keep you cool, but this is only when the riding is hardcore riding for more than 9+ hours, is what I felt and experienced. But if you're the commuter, type, these are good boots.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                            The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                            THE END

Bro the shop owner told me they are keeping the stocks of motorcycle accessories only at their shop in Funmall. So visiting them at siddhapudur will be of no use.

As said by Vj you can try them in Adventure Shoppe but at different location in Coimbatore,

When i last visited them they had Dsg triton in stock but it was around one month back and one advice for you is don't go for them because you will get literally fried in it under the hot madurai weather as it is a winter jacket. So try Spartan Helios or Cramster Breezer.

Am I just left to choose either between these two jackets? Are there any other all-weather jackets or even better if its a full time summer jacket excluding the Rjay's Octane available?? The Helios looks kind of flashy and the Breezer's look is not appealing, yet I found another variant of the Breezer, The Cramster Breezer-RS Which looks good and also matches my bike,Look does matter for me Boss even at the cost of some discomfort but never on compromising safety. A noob question, is this variant of Brezzer an all weather jacket too? Plus how does the Dsg Phoneix feel in hot climatic condition ? Although been using it for five months I can't be a critic of it since it was my first and the only riding jacket that i ever used. It does get a little hot at stop signals but i taught this is how a jacket will feel and got used to it.
