I was under the impression that LS2 is a Italian brand but its Spanish indeed.
LS2 sure does manufacture jackets, you can see them here.

All I want to say is, LS2 in itself is facing issue about being genuine. So why to risk when you can get tried and tested gears in almost the same price.
Let people come up with their reviews for the LS2 jackets, then one can go for them

Which is a better buy

Spartan ProGear - Icarus

or

Spartan ProGear - Helios

This is for occasional use. Not frequent drives.

Also, is it OK to wear knee protectors separately over our regular jeans while touring. Or a riding pant is must ?

If you have enough moolah then go for Helios; It has better protectors. Same is the case with knee guards and riding pants. Riding pants offer better overall protection than just knee guards, but, on a tight budget you can go for knee guards. Also for day to day rides, knee guards are better suited.

which are the best Biking gear shops in Pune??

I have already got a couple of suggestions from theironhorse99, but what i would really like to know are what prices and what all brands should i expect? do they offer any kinds of discount on such videshi gear?
I am not willing to go for cheapu gear, especially the helmet. I have got a budget of ~5K for the helmet. gloves comes next, and then the jacket. will buy in installments because i wont be able to afford all in one go. but first is helmets.

I have SOL, MT, KYT in mind.
Ride: Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 Marine >> KTM Duke 390 2017

I doubt if you will find duplicate LS2 jackets, but yes spurious LS2 helmets are plenty. Fortunately, I use a genuine LS2 FF358 Supra helmet, got it before these got too popular.
Saw the LS2 jacket at my friends shop, so I am sure it is genuine. He also stocks Rynox gears. But he does not have them in my size. Will try the helios before making a final decision.

Cheers

Viaterra Claw comes with a Rain Cover. You can purchase a rain cover from them separately also(If you happen to lose the original one). I am using the Claw for quite some time. It also have a mini version. If you are not aiming for long trips/usually carry less luggage, the Mini Claw would be best. The down side of the Claw which I felt is that when it is fully stuffed, it weighs little heavy(Obviously.. You have stuffed in lot of stuff in it which makes it heavy) and is little hard to carry(Even with the provided detachable shoulder straps). You won't feel the weight when it is mounted on the bike. It is fine to just carry it to your hotel room(Only if the room is near) and back. But if you have to walk a while with it, its going to break your back.

hey guys ..
after cutting my expenses i finally gathered up 3k for gloves (purchase to made in 2nd week of nov at mostly moto101 mumbai or bachoo motors) .. this my first venture into buying proper gear .. till now was using chepo probiker gloves
after looking i came to 3 options :
1.Rjays canyon
2. DSG primal Gloves (full)
3. SPG PEGASUS

after reading around i have decided to go for leather gloves instead of mesh ones ..
and also what is the procedure to buy from international sites ? is it viable option ?

and plus till date i havent had a single track day session .. mostly because of the place i live in .. but i maybe moving to chennai for further strudies in a coming year .. so will a short cuff glove qualify the safety checks that they might have ? ..( i dont own a leather suit and proper riding boots either..but thats on my list and probably go for used one)

back to the point i am more inclined towards the rjays gloves .. mainly because of brand name translating into better protection
and what about reliability of these gloves ?..

If you are looking for full gauntlet, also look at Cramster TRG2. Cheapest of the lot and time tested (though their customer service SUCKS)

DSG full gauntlet gloves are also a very good option. Rjays and Spartan you shortlisted are half gauntlet gloves.

Yes mate i know the that Rjays is half gauntlet glove..
My basic query is which one is more reliable and better in terms of protection.. and supposedly in near future if i have a track day session would they need a full gauntlet gloves or half ones will do??

A full gauntlet is any day better in terms of protection..But not really comfy for city use.
For track, I am not sure if full gauntlet is a requirement - I would be surprised if it is in Chennai/ Kari.
