  • In need of new ridings gloves: Economic price

    Hello Everyone.
Ive been facing this problem of blackening of fingers due to constant handling of the clutch for long rides in the city. And Nights in Hyderabad are getting colder by the day in december. So I probably thought of buying a pair of gloves for my rides ( to work ) . I've checked a few sites, shops ( costlier than the sites ) and got suggestions from a few friends. I'm still a bit confused on what should I consider while buying them. I've fixed my mind as to not cross the price limit of Rs.500 ( Since these are my first gloves and Im going to use them only for about a year or so). Could anyone suggest me a few shops in hyderabad or a few sites that show good gloves , that are plain ( not with the knuckle protection). Thanks in Advance

Its a tough call. Make sure the Astars back protector is similar to the Back foam piece in the Spartan jacket. If the shapes vary, I doubt you can push into the back protector slot.
Safe bet is to buy a separate back protector that you can wear like a backpack independent of any jacket. you could even wear it under your tee shirt

like I said, if the size and shape are different you are simply wasting your money. Since you cannot take the jacket to the store, ask your relative to pick up a stand alone back protector!!

Cramster have a back protector for Rs.3200 which is CE Level2!!! I'm planning on picking up one myself

I had a friend bring in Alpinestars Bio Armor Back Protector - RevZilla (size M) fro my Helios. The fit is a little tight. I had to pull the I had to stretch the protector pocket a little to close the cover.
Check the size on revzilla size and compare.

                      URGENT!!

Recently I checked and tried Cramster Blaster and DSG Revive gloves. DSG Revive was of a bit better fit, Cramster Blaster was a bit tight.
which one should I buy keeping in mind that I want to use it in summer also.

Guess you are out of luck then.
You (or your relative) could try to call up the manufactrurer afer looking up their no on the internet. Its a long shot though.
Or you can send the size of Helios back protector to your relative. have him order the protector. If the size does not match, get your relative to return it. Returns are quite easy in US.
                        Both options require some effort.

Apart from woolen gloves available at market, no specific riding gloves in that range.
