@Pranav19 - are you from Bombay? if so, Where did you try these out?
If you're looking for SPG products, check out Moto101 in Bandra. For other brands too, look up their authorised dealers on the websites.

This has been said many times before - but here goes again.

      1. All leather gloves should not be used in the rains unless specifically designed so. Currently I don't know of any being sold in India. Using leather gloves in rain is a sure way of ruining them. If they do get wet, taking care to dry and rehydrate the leather is imperative to the long term health of your glove.
      2. For rains, you should use waterproof gloves which normally will be made of fabric or fabric/leather combo. This leather would be treated for use in water. A few brands do make these. Look them up.
      3. There is no such thing as "one product serves all situations", and whoever makes such claims is downright lying to you.

      I hope this clarifies.
      Cheers!

      • Riding Jacket Help

        Hi All,

I am looking for a Riding jacket for my daily use. I have narrowed down my search to 2 of them . I am find it little hard to find the comparison between these 2 on the internet. so seeking help from you guys.

        1. Zeus All terrain V4.0
        2. Cramster Breezer v4s (3 in One jacket)

They Costs 7.9 k and 6k respectively. There is one more reason why i find these 2. They are available in spot-Red color ( which has Bal and red mix, less red and looks attractive to me )
Please let me know your thoughts on this please.

        Thanks
        Peeths

Thanks for your suggestions. Bought the TBG Street (Semi-gauntlet) gloves today. Really like the fit and finish. The small size fit my hands perfectly. Will post pictures later.

At that budget SPG Helios fits the bill perfectly.

I had selected the Aspida Pegasus last month but bought the Aspida Centaur instead. Found it a better deal at 300 bucks more. You get more protection around your wrist and palm area. The only thing missing in centaur against pegasus is the carbon fibre finish. Check out the Centaur too.

Anyone using Studds Gloves? Perticularly looking for SMG3 from studds. I am not sure whether it has safety clips/plastics/fiber ( whatever called ) or just simple gloves. So need input on it.

As per studds site they dont have any such gloves so I doubt the ones with this name are genuine or not. Also I searched for it and found that they dont have any knuckle protection. If you are tight on budget then get pro biker gloves and save for a better one and get it when the pocket allows.

                          Hello guys ,

I want to purchase a Riding Jacket ( budget 7-8k with certified back armor as well, would be good if its orange color matching with the KTM) , Gloves (3-4k) initially followed by knee guards( 2-3k) . Are riding boots necessary or will normal shoes do the job

You should pay a visit to Lets Gear Up, HSR Layout as Bangalore is pretty near for you, after contacting them on FB about availabilty. I think they would have just the things you want, considering your budget. Mesh jacket with level 2 sas techs at the back (it has a orange tag too ) and the great full gauntlets from them should suffice your glove needs. Knee guard, you could go with the cramsters bionic one.

Not sure of your usage. If city commuting is the only thing then you can get away with hard soled woodlands/CAT/Army boots with decent ankle support, provided you ride sane. If you are touring on highways, boots (preferably full ones) would go a long away in saving your feet during a mishap.

The exact same thing happened to me after about a months usage. However I dint want to fall in any hassles of warranty & stuff so just got it stitched by my brother who is good at it.
Its actually quite simple, you just have to pass a black thread at 4 points & wind it along the groove of the button. And being mesh, its easy & does not involve any piercing.

Well this does make me doubt DSGs reliability but i don't think DSG brand is all that bad.
