I am using spartan perseus since one month now.
      Pros:
      1. Two straps holds the guard firmly. Each strap is having two velcros, for easy adjustemnts.
      2. Mesh elastic material on back side of guard, good breathability. No sweating.
      3. Certainly can wear inside ur office trousers for all day long (I tried once). I use it with streachable jeans with comfort.
      4. Knox armour

      Cons:
      1. The elastic part above first strap tends to slide down towards the strap. Need to adjust it frequently. This happens to me because of my fat narrowing thigh.
      2. The lower elastic rim causes eatching on long rides. my solution on this issue by overlapping it over socks.

      My verdict: 4.5/5

      Go for it...

Can anyone please suggest me a riding boot for 10K ? Other than Tarmac venom..
Well, funny you should ask because I just picked up the Gianni Falco Liberty 2 from Rahul @ Moto 101 Bandra, Mumbai.

I had to go a size over what I normally get because I have wide feet but they are reasonably comfortable and can be worn under jeans as well.
They seem extremely well constructed. Significantly better than the Tarmac Tour boots I considered before plonking the extra 2k on this. It is 8K inclusive of taxes and IMHO worth the money. Falco boots seem to be very well reviewed on the interwebs and I will update on how they feel after a few days of riding.

        Current Gear setup
        1. Helmet - HJC CL-17 @ Rs.9000/- Great helmet. Fits well on my large oddly shaped dome and does not feel heavy. Well vented but still needs the balaclava under it to not get all sweaty. Hey it is bloody humid and I am a sweaty sort of guy :|.

        2. Jacket - Spartan Helios @ Rs.7800/- Chose it over the Hyperion because it seemed cooler (temperature-wise) and I wanted to stay under budget and spend more on the helmet. Still makes me work up a sweat in traffic but see last sentence of helmet comment. Looking to mod the elbow strap with a button to make the armour sit snugly. Exceptional VFM.

        3. Gloves - Spartan Phaeton @ Rs.2250/- Good urban gloves. The 2015 version is different from the one shown on the website. Moto101's FB page has the new version. It has a semi-gauntlet but has lost the hard palm sliders and still no pinky finger protection. There are gloves by Spartan and others that will offer better protection but the phaeton is light, airy and very "maneuverable". Also great quality to price ratio.

        4. Boots - As above.

Only added pics of the boots because pics of the other gear seem common enough.

        Cheerz

PS. Additional pics to show how they look under pants. I dare say I could pass them off at work if I don't manage to change my shoes.

Mate sorry, didn't notice your post. They do have international delivery, but don't assume any responsibility of customs etc, so you are at the mercy of customs and their arbitrary charges!

If you are thinking of ordering from abroad, US is your best bet. Not only are items a lot cheaper than UK, some sites also give you complete peaceof mind in that they charge you a final amount including customs, so you are almost assured a hassle free delivery and no shocks later!
The delivery charges won't make the overall purchase very cheap, but in some cases even with international shipping and custom clearance, it's almost same as the UK price!

                  Hey guys
                  Any suggestions for riding pants?
I previously owned a riding pant from dsg
Had an accident last year and the pants did their job well but they are damaged.
In search of new pants, any suggestions?

I have come across this mototech riding jacket, Contour Air.
                    Any good, this?

Does it come with a winter liner?

So my 3 year old DSG Revive gloves have fallen apart. Of all the things i bought on that day from DSG(everything but boots) I've had the worst luck with this glove. It fell apart 2 weeks after purchase and DSG failed to acknowledge any warranty claims after repeated mails and contacting the dealer who sold me that thing. So i rarely used it and made it my long distance riding glove(barely has like 3k kms on it) and today while washing it and trying it on so it doesn't shrink the stitches came apart like a stuffed animal's. Now will be in Bangalore next month and might have to go glove hunting.

What's the best glove on the market right now in the 2.5-3.5k price bracket? Would prefer it to be from any brand but DSG but wouldn't mind hearing about any modern DSG that will last me more than 2 weeks
                        Does Spartan offer any?

Yeah i managed to fix it finally. All i had to do was hold one side and slide the zipper through the teeth on the other side all the way down. I had given up after 2 weeks of struggling to yank it out of there but all i needed to do was slide it down. Although in my defense, it wasn't budging down anyway. Had to pull it up and then yank it down one stretch at a time.

Need Some suggestions about riding gear.

I have used my DSG to its extent in the last few years to the extent where it has started disintegrating now, literally. approx age of the jacket be around 6-7 years probably.

I now want to buy a jacket and am having problems with selecting one.

                          My budget: 10k

Requirements: Hump, chest armor slots (as in DSG, atleast they were there in the old ones) apart from the normal armor slots. I use full Alpinestar armors so that should fit. Trying to look for a semi leather jacket (ones with mesh + leather useful in warm weathers too) but ain't getting anything. My old jacket is a rare one.

                          Please help me.

I was ordering one Alpinestar GP Tech Air via a friend, but found out that it was probably fake as Air ones are way way way costlier. It was on sale for 300 SG$ only (some 13k INR). Real Air costs approx 40k INR or more. Just the jacket.

                          Need suggestion with Helmet choice:

                          Budget : 8k

                          Short Listed :

LS2 CR1 (but I wanna stay clear of LS2 unless its imported from USA. My last one was an import)
                          MT

I don't have much of an idea about brands, so please help. Important is the availability of visors. I change them as frequent as bimonthly.

Any help would be highly appreciated !!!!

                          Cheers;

                            Hi folks,
Looking to buy TCX RS2-EVO riding boots. I looked at HighPerformanceNote website and it is listed at Rs.26,500. But the same boots costs $430 in Revzilla. The price listed in High Performance Note site is actually less than Revzilla price. Does this site sell original TCX boots. Found from the website that it is near Andheria Modh station in Delhi. Can some Delhi folks who has bought from/know about this shop let me know if the goods are genuine TCX. Thanks in advance.

The best glove available spec wise

In India in your price range is undoubtedly TBG street and sport. This is purely from spec perspective. I do not have any experience but intend to buy a pair soon. Spec wise it is right up there with very premium stuff costing thrice as much.
