I am 6 foot 3 tall with hip size of 44" with a belly. When I tried to buy a mesh riding jacket in Chennai at Velavan merchandise, I tried various brands and sizes. I was able to fit in to one brand's 5XL. Most of other sizes and other brands were tight at my hip level where my belly prevented the zippers to come close.

The 5XL size that I tried was okay, but the shoulder and elbow armours were bit out of position and did not cover its organ that it is intended to protect. I thought not to buy this jacket because of this reason.

All I want is a bit more at belly area. Does any manufacturer address this issue? Any other suggestions?

              Thanks,
              Narayanan

                Guys,

Looking to buy gloves for winter and rain usage. Budget: 2500 stretchable based on quality and vfm.
Checked cramster website which was showing tundra gloves for both rain and winter. Has anyone tried them? How are they? Also is there a complete package which one can use for all seasons? If not, what should the exact pair be for multiple seasons which is good quality wise and vfm as well.

                Thanks!

I have heard of custom jackets being made for kids. And I think going the "custom" route would be the best bet for you.

That said, with the limited amount of knowledge I have, I can see two options:

                    1. If the armors are only a little off, and the rest of the jacket is okay, see if you can find someone to reliably make some minor tweaks to make the jacket fit you correctly. As I see it, there is a considerable risk involved here. Caveat emptor.

                    2. If the armors are more out of place than you'd like, then get a custom jacket made. It would be worth every penny you spend on it.

On a lighter note, if 44" isn't too much (I have no idea what hip-sizes usually go with 6'3"), you could take this as a challenge to get back in shape God knows something like this is in order for me shortly!

Strangely Can't find a useful review for a relatively old product anywhere in the internet (on my to buy list for ladakh). There is a glove from TBG's inventory called the EXPLORER retails at 2799. Check Lets gear up's fb page.

I have and using the Cramster Tundra gloves. I have ridden in heavy rain. The gloves get wet but nit your hands, which means from outside it looks fully dipped in water but its dry inside. In winter it feels nice and warm, however there is a lack of ventilation which is obvious( not sure how that is gonna be in really long rides ). You feel uncomfortable in the begining , and its a matter of getting used to. I carry them for all my long rides as a secondary gloves to use it in rain. Personally i like them as this is the only water resistant gloves comes in that range from a known manufacturer ( that i am aware of). I suggest go to a cramster showroom and try it than buying online.

                        Thanks

Hey, Can you pls take out some of your precise time and do a in-depth review of the gloves. It will help a lot of folks since there isn't any review online about the tundra and since Cramster has lot of negative feedback. ppl including me feel very confused to buy or not to buy the tundra. Hope its not too much to ask.

I would highly recommend you to increase your budget a bit to say about 5.5K and go for a DSG Evo, Rynox Air GT than the Scimator. I personally as mentioned earlier, do not see it as a brand as it has no whereabouts and cannot be taken as a product that you could risk yourself with in case of a fall.

Go for products that have been tried and tested.

                              Hope this helps.

I would recommend you to push your budget to 5k and get a good quality tested and approved jacket. Yes A2z motorcycle is a good store to buy the entry level jackets or you may visite Outdoor Travel Gear (Thane/ Bandra).
