Around 13.5k for a jacket that too from china?

I prefer buying riding gears from some local stores or website based in india (coz incase i need any help related to sizing issue or something else)

Hi Guys,

I drive Harley iron 883 and mostly cruise within city limits. Till now I have been using elbow guard over basic leather jacket for protection. I am thinking to upgrade myself for proper entry level armor jacket. I am not considering Harley apparels coz of its high price. Please suggest some Jacket brands & models which has all weather material, feels good & protection.

I suggest you check out your nearest Royal Enfield store for the kind of gear that looks great on your Iron 883, and that too within acceptable, understandable prices.

Last I heard, Proper quality riding pants with CE armor were going at Rs. 2000/ per unit. And amazing looking all weather protective shoes went at 3300.
And I have one jeans of RE, and I must say, amazing quality and great fit!

Recently purchased the Rynox Air GT small size. When I tried for the first time the armor seemed to be placed at their intended locations.

But now after I've ridden the bike with the jacket on the armor seems to move, in particular the shoulder armor. With the additional pressure of shoulder straps of my backpack the armor slides backward and exposes the shoulder. Also the elbow armor seems to slide down cause the textile slot is a bit larger in length.

Can anybody suggest some jugaad/fixes?

How's the authenticity of products? [MENTION=13887]prateek2210[/MENTION] if I'm not wrong, you were using Komine jacket right? How's the quality of armours?

After all that issues I faced with Indian manufacturers and dealers, i decided to go for these. Finally I have something which is really worth and i can use them with any bike I like without people looking at me. 😁




Need suggestions for the shoes. Should i go for Dainese Dyno D1?

After all that issues I faced with Indian manufacturers and dealers, i decided to go for these. Finally I have something which is really worth and i can use them with any bike I like without people looking at me. 😁

For shoes, I think you should try the sidi boots out first before you go Dainese...

No no, mine is Scoyoco JK17, we had Komine store here in Delhi, dont know what happened to it.
But trust me, dont go for apparels online, The size differs for almost all the brands, and its better to try them first.
