Re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
You have Biking brotherhood gears, TBG. Both of them have good reviews all over and good after sales. Don't know about solace but it seems good too.Originally posted by joelgreen View PostNever ride faster than your guardian angel can fly.

Re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
The TBG sport full gauntlets came in the mail today. Rs4650 including shipping to Mumbai.
First impressions:
They are really comfortable. They were a bit tight the first time i wore them. Then after a couple of times of removing them and putting back on they fit perfect. The inner lining is really soft and feels good overall.
Build quality feels great and the gloves feel sturdy.

Knox SPS

Didn't have a chance yet to ride with them. But from the looks of it should be really nice.
Just one con if i am nitpicking, the touch screen area on the finger is totally useless and the phone is unusable with the gloves on.Never ride faster than your guardian angel can fly.

Re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
I have finally decided to buy riding boots I will use them mostly for highway rides and not for commutes. My budget is 10k maximum ( willing to extend a bit for something really good ), i would prefer a full length boot with some ventilation and good comfort and great protection.
Please suggest
I am considering these:
BB Racer Boots by Biking Brotherhood gears
I am inclined towards BB Racer as it has good features (www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwZwKcOHPVY) and i've heard good things about Biking brotherhood gears.
Track Breed Full length boots
Heard good things about these as well.
Solace Threshold
No idea.
Tarmac Venom
Good safety, but not meant for hot cities according to this
Please help me choose, Any other suggestions?Never ride faster than your guardian angel can fly.

BB shoes you probably selected, looks nice. But I suggests you one more option thats based on my personal experience. I am crazy about bike riding and I used quite a few motorbike gears brands.Couple of months ago, I buy TCX S-Sportour Evo Boots from High Note Performance in 11K. Its full length boot with some proper ventilation. It provides me ultimate comfort and great protection.
I suggest you this
CX S-Sportour Evo Boots
Cheers..

Re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
I have a query about the protectors ... I own a Helios Classic mesh. I bought it because of the mesh and the fit.
But unfortunately we can only try it on; but can't do like a test drive before we buy. So the jacket that fit well doesn't sit well when I ride. Its the KNOX protectors. They are very rigid and sometimes inhibit movement. I think its the way I'm built ... with weird shoulders. I changed to SASTEC level 2 protectors that I bought from Solace. They are ok ok ... but somehow do not inspire confidence.
Do the SASTEC level2 in question offer the same level of protection as KNOX level 1 as seen in this jacket???
I understand no one would have tested both and pray none have to. But if you can help out based on your knowledge it would be helpful. When I'm on the road, I'm indestructible. No one can stop me... but they try.

Re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
How my buying a cramster K2K riding jacket turned out to be crapster experience. Faulty product , blaming me for accepting a faulty product , arrogant customer service , suggesting me to afford a local solution of Rs 50 and rude emails. My conversation with them in pics.
Please beware before buying any products from them. As they have claimed in their email they is no warranty on riding gears. Only bags.
They have no control on their re-sellers and customer has to sort out issues with re - sellers , cramster is not involved.
Cramster team is so experienced that they can tell you the estimate cost of repair by only reading your email.
