Not 100% waterproof, only gloves with gore-tex material are 100% waterproof.

The only issue I have is the chin guard (small triangular cloth in the bottom) keeps getting out partly when I remove the helmet sometimes. Otherwise it's a great helmet. Really happy with it [emoji3]
That triangular cloth is chin curtain. It helps with wind noise reduction at highway speeds. For city use you may remove it altogether.

I use soyoco mc10 and I love them. They are not leather gloves but. If you want better protection go for rev it sand series gloves. Royal Enfield Stocks them.
                Else alpinestar smx is good.
I have a leather gloves and I don't find them comfortable for city use.

I've been using a simple leather jacket for rising purposes along with elbow protectors till now. But now the urge to buy a riding jacket has been too much to ignore simply because of the additional benefits a riding jacket comes with.
I have shortlisted a few of them in the 6k-7k range and have read reviews of them. But there's 1 jacket for which I can't find any reviews about but has been vouched by a few biking accessories shops. They also claim that they have been selling them since a while and the jackets are imported and not made in India. The name of the company is KROSS though I don't remember the jacket model number. I have tried it on and looks pretty good. It has elbow, shoulders and back protectors all CE certified (level 1 or level 2, not sure), has all the rain liners and winter liners, adjustable straps on the elbows, forearms, cuffs and hips, good air flow through the mesh, 600DN cordula, good amount of reflectors, YKK zips 2 external water resistant pockets, 2 internal pockets with 1 waterproof pocket, 2 keychain holders and everything expected in a good riding jacket. It's cost is also 6k which is within budget.
My only concern is the lack of reviews online, though the vendors give positive reviews. Can you guys please help me regarding this KROSS Riding Jacket.
                  Thanks in advance.

Why not considered the established market leaders? Spartan Rynox etc. Tons of reviews available for them

Well I did buy the KROSS Riding Jacket...it has the same protection as the Rynox and since it has been vouched by different vendors, I bought this jacket...I've worn it a few times on short rides till now (within 100 kms radius) and felt the quality of it is good enough and also has a good fit...the airflow in the mesh is very good and didn't feel hot inside and the rain liner didn't allow water to seep inside in moderate rains...the protectors at the elbows, shoulders and back feel good and should do their job decently in an unfortunate event (though I hope that doesn't happen)...
I do agree on your concern regarding buying a jacket amongst the market leaders...but this jacket appealed to me more than the others due to which I made the purchase..
                      Happy Riding ...[emoji2]

The so called Kross Jacket "doesnt" come with CE rating armours, but its actually fine if people want to risk their skin in case of accident, After all the style is more important than safety.

It does come with a CE rated armours for your info...how do I know, it's printed on the armours itself.. I don't endorse this brand or any other brand...and I do prioritize safety over looks..the purchase was made on the basis of fit, quality, armour rating and stuff ...

I do understand your inputs. How much did you get it for? Printing on armours about CE approval is no proof. The protector will have a part number. Ask your vendor/shopkeeper to give you an authentic CE certificate for the protector. Rynox (since I have experienced where pormpt to repky to my query on CE apparoval as I have been using their jackets and I willl not deny that they have earned a considerable amout...

I paid Rs. 6000 for the jacket. Yes it does have specific part number written on the armours. Sorry for not clarifying earlier, by printing on the armours I meant on the armours with the serial number and part number.
And regarding the certificate, I'll get in touch with the vendor and ask for the same.

                              Cheers.

Guys, I'm searching for a helmet with an inbuilt Bluetooth system. Budget around 6-8k. I've tried for external systems online, but can't find a COD option (no other option for payment as of now :/)
If anyone near/in Mumbai knows any shop that stocks external bluetooth systems, plz let me know...
