Kunva Gloves

@All: Any idea about the attached gloves (make: Kunva)..?
I saw it on On The Rocks-The Adventure Store
They look quite nice in the pics, are pretty cheap & appear to be total VFM..
Please give your inputs & suggestions..

I suggest you avoid these, i had an accident wearing these same ones and the knuckles broke and cut my hand ,palm tore through and well its better than nothing but i say go for something better with leather or stronger materials, this is just cloth.

@tibby: Cheedhu got these. I second the opinion given above&felt the ProBiker gloves are much better at Rs.1400+. For city use I would recommend the DSG Moto Mesh gloves at Rs.850.

@Jonak: I received the Knighthood gloves yesterday. At Rs.250 a pair, they have tried their best to make it as good as possible. Lets see how long they last!

Anyone using a tank bag on the RTR 180 or Refresh. Was wondering if the tank scoops hinder the mounting of the tank bag? Also, are there alternatives to the Cramster Turtle? I found it to be of very small capacity.

i have the rtr refresh.... i didnt see much probs mountin it on my ride...... yet again a bit of the flickability of bike is lost......

Where do we get Tank bags for the RTR? even I hav 3 mth old RTR Refresh.... I would like to know its cost also.. does it leave any scratches on the tank?

the probiker gloves are not 1400/- but its just for 450-500 and its total VFM.....Onthe rocks is selling it at an exhorbitant rate

@Jonak: I got the Knighthood gloves from Siliguri for Rs.250 a pair.

@motormania: The same thing costs Rs.450 in On the Rocks!

You can try in cramster.in ,and its price is something like 1300.00 .and yes it will leave its mark on the tank in long run.

Cool. See how long it lasts. As I have already told you, there are several variety as well.
As Motormania has told you, Probiker gloves now costs 500-550 INR in Kolkata. The same one I use. (See my album to take a look at it).

I've heard about a lot of folk who use use a soft cloth under the magnets to protect the tank. Not sure how effective it is though.

Magnets have a tendency to dull the paint... heck in some cases even peel off the paint...
Good tankbags have a special kind of a leather under the magnet which "minimizes" this impact....
Also at times people become reckless in mounting and unmonting the bag which can lead to small scratches on the bike....

On my R15, the magnets rests on the Yamaha logo and the tankpad... so not really a big concern

My bag is not a cramster one though, (its a rapid, that i got a while back) so may be you should try and check if you can do the same with your bag+bike combo?
