Got alpinestar SMX-2 AC glove from a shop in delhi. Costed me 1.2k. I cudn't realize. He told me it was taken out from customs.

    Pros:
+The cost offcourse was one of the pros!!
+The gloves are really very well ventilated. Even in this scorching heat of Delhi, hands remain cool.
+Most of the material is textile so no problems in rain too. I had them in quite a heavy rain and no smell or deteroitation.
+Gives a really nice grip to the hand.

    Cons:
-Sometimes they become quite tight from the area near the thumb so when u take them out it's like all that area is absolute read!!

Had got tankpad from DSG for R15 blue too. If someone wants I can put the pics with a review on it

for a price of 1.2K you could have got a better deal deal and that too originals(Cramster gloves and sigma gloves from KRP)

      +1 on that..
1.2k for an original A* is way too less to believe..

@restrict: The gloves look very good though, & since you find it comfortable, shouldn't matter I guess..

        • Right friends. When he told me 1.2k even i was astonished abt them as real or not.
He told that they were taken out from customs or something like that.
But then again how does it matter. They are comfortable and will protect my hands.
+they sport alpinestars even if they aren't real
(But i do think they are real cuz the material does not deel those cheap ones.)

              • I have one astar gloves for 1500 , but they either replicas/factory seconds . The quality is good but all the logos are stitched in reverse. Even if they are fake , I would say the quality is really good and are very conforatble and well ventillated.

I might , the red jacket and gloves won't suit on the Mach V

                    • keiti tankpad

Here are a few pics of keiti tankpad i recently got from planetdsg.

                      Pros:
+ I had earlier tried a tankpad from local-area fr abt 150. It had colour fade in 1 week. and dust used to stick to it. The one from keiti has been good so far.
+ For blue R15 owners. It's best cuz the color matches cool and has a yamaha logo type thing in design.
                      +It's not very thick.
+ Comes in a 4 peice. (Refer pics). So user can choose the length and the other 2 auxillary parts if he has to put them or not. I had to omit the lower most piece cuz it was too lengthy for R15's tank.
+ It is scratch resistant to some extent as claimed by planetdsg but not super scratch resistant

                          • You won't believe what I saw last year the the crap-store called Big Bazar...winter jackets with Alpinestars logo on them. I felt a bit ashamed coz I had ordered an AStar jacket around the same time, skipping over JR and Spidi, but what the heck! Half the people who buy them won't even know what the logo is supposed to mean.

                              • Picked up a pair or DSG MotoMaze for Rs 850 from orion motors today. Nice deal they are for regular city use it feels really comfortable and being Maze the ventilation is really nice and the Kevlar protecting the knuckles do inspire a lot of confidence and some of me mates reckon these gloves should be quite handy if I am ever in a bad situation and need to land a punch
