Go for DSG Nero... i have a few friends who use either one on every trip.Originally posted by mario@veda View Postthanks man and what do you think about the dsg nero also skeptical about it heard that the collar velcro leaves marks near the neck and buttons have some issue is that true ???
The once who have Nero are quite happy with there jacket and the once with Cramster's Raptor/Pulse have changed or are planning to switch to Nero....
P.S. I have ordered a Nero for myself and should get it in a day or two.The Fastest Indian!!

Interesting. Always felt Cramster's quality was better than DSG's but the last few days have kinda turned that notion upside down. With regard to the quality of the DSG Nero, Ive been using it for at least 9 - 10 months, the only problem that I have faced is that the tag that was part of the front zip has broken and the reflective tape is kinda wearing out here and there with the rough use. Otherwise no complaints whatsoever.

guys these are the options before me: dsg falcon, dsg maze, dsg nero, cramster pulse jacket. please help me choose one. my priorities are that it should be highly water proof(monsoons coming and i am planning a lot of rides soon),it should not get torn in a fall and it should have the best protectors available(primary requirement). initially i thought of cramster. but cramster products are making a bad reputation in this thread already .please help. also will it be safe to get the dsg jacket couriered ?superbikes are the biggest blunders on indian roads.

Even if the gloves tear during a crash, it would have done its job as long asOriginally posted by prateek2210 View PostAaah nothing as such yaar

the body part was not injured. Most protective equipment should not be used even after one crash. But yes, if the glove is tearing during everyday use, that is something of concern.
From my experience with riding gear, unless the mesh has Goretex lining (or equivalent), it will not be waterproof while being breathable at the same time. If a piece of gear claims waterproofing without using a membrane like Goretex, it will be coated with a non-breathable layer on the inside, defeating the whole point of wearing a mesh jacket. So look for these things when buying weather proof riding gear.Originally posted by akhilmuraleedhar View Postguys these are the options before me: dsg falcon, dsg maze, dsg nero, cramster pulse jacket. please help me choose one. my priorities are that it should be highly water proof(monsoons coming and i am planning a lot of rides soon),it should not get torn in a fall and it should have the best protectors available(primary requirement). initially i thought of cramster. but cramster products are making a bad reputation in this thread already .please help. also will it be safe to get the dsg jacket couriered ?
And forgive me, but if one is expecting mesh equipment not to tear during a crash, that is slightly unreasonable. If protection is a top priority, go for a leather jacket - it has far superior abrasion resistance than anything else out there. And a good quality leather jacket is no more hotter than a mesh jacket when worn at a speed of 40kms. I wear my leather jacket and pants whenever I hit the highway, and I don't feel uncomfortable at all. In city riding, even a mesh jacket will be like a Sauna in Indian summers.
