Finally decided to goto Pune to get the sizes and stuff properly. Can someone pls confirm if I will be able to find both DSG and Cramster in Pune? I know there's a Cramster in pune, not sure of a DSG store.

just for jacket going at pune??? make no sense, u can get it in mumbai itself....

How did you suppose I'm from Mumbai . Working in Hyd actually . Neither DSG nor Cramster here in Hyd
Now let me tell you why it makes perfect sense
1. Need to get jacket, gloves, knee protector, saddle bags, maybe elbow protectors. So it's not just about the Jacket. Though I can get them couriered but then what if I don't find them comfortable. So better "try it and then buy it" . Have to goto Pune or Bglore, thought Pune would be a better option.
2. Need a reason to ride to Pune.
3. Need a reason to ride to Pune, in this weather.
4. Need to get my bum accustomed to 500+ km rides. Have to do Delhi - Manali in 1 day, on our way to the 'Heaven on Earth'
5. Might take a day off and do Lonavala, Mahabaleshwar watever is possible. let's see. Not making any plans as of now.
6. I just need to RIde !!!

Well if ride is the purpose than go ahead. In Hyderabad you can check "Adventure On the Rocks " . Recently I visited the owner's place and I found decent collection of Tank Bag , Saddle Bags etc. (found Alpinestars Aero Tank bag for almost 5k whereas DSG site shows around 9k) . You might find few good stuffs there.
But again Pune has both Cramsters and DSG and lots of options.

After I had good look at the Cramster products, I feel they are overpriced.

For example the jackets - poor quality stitching with a lot of loose threads, average quality lining material, general quality and finish didn't meet my expectations for the prices they are being sold at. A quick look at US websites will show similar prices for many products for big brand name products.

The advantage of buying a Cramster bike products it that they are specifically bike products meant for bike riding. They sell because there is no alternative for enlightened bikers in India. My advice to those who can afford such products is to find someone who would be willing to get you stuff from the US. I know it's not possible for most people but I think that's the best way to get good quality biker products. In some cases it may even work out cheaper since a lot of products are sold at big discounts.

Edit: I had the chance to see DSG products and my opinion on them is the same as on Cramster.

I have checked out gears in cramster. would suggest you go for DSG jackets. Its almost the same price but better looks and quality.

If your still looking for options try Home - BACHOO MOTOR & CYCLE COMPANY (mumbai) and Kaulson Racing ...... GO !!!!!!!!!!!! For KRP (delhi). Amazing stuff. Just check out the website.

I agree with Juris.. check out On The Rocks - Adventure Store. He has got nice stuff and if you can wait for a month, owner is going to Boston and Detroit to get stuff. His name is rithesh- +91 9000 509 180.

My New Riding Jacket!!!

Hi all,

Finally, I have got a Brand New Riding Jacket for myself.

Its a SCOYCO JK-17 in red colour. The Jacket looks awesome and includes all protectors. The price of the Jacket is only 3K sold by Raw Adventures in New Delhi and I feel its a good value for money.

I have attached few pics from the internet. I will be posting my original pics very soon.. I feel the original looks far better than the below attached pics..

hey i liked your jacket ,where did you get it from and how much and please throw some light on it's protection capabilities.
Is it related to DUHAN brand in anyway.I would have gone for black color though it depends on your bike color as well.

Yes I did feel the same , DSG does look better for the same price , so thats what it will be , as KRP or the other one is a little expensive for me .
