MX3 is a textile glove and wont offer much protection against abrasion in case of a fall. Also Cramster quality has dipped alarmingly off late.
Aditya, lockhrt999's options were the DSG moto mesh & the MX3.

Between the two, I would say the MX3 is the better product. And yes, Cramsters quality has gone down a couple of notches recently.

lockhrt999, if you would like to invest more in riding gear (around 2k) then the DSG revive (2k) and the Cramster TRG2 (2.3k) are very good choices.

            • I am using Cramster MX3. For me that goes under jacket and sure it is a mess.. I am using a DSG Nero. The velcro of the gloves usually sticks with the jacket's mesh lining inside and creates a lot of problem for the liner. If you want to take off the gloves, first you have to detach the velcro sleeve then unzip and then there is a task to get off the velcro that stuck to the inner liner of the jacket... I strongly suggest to buy a TRG-2 rather than that.. or buy gloves that fits to the top of the jacket sleeves.. Of course for city commute MX3 is very very good.
Anybody using MX3 here face this problem..???

                  Hey ezy_rider,

Ive used city gloves for the last 2 years (DSG's discontinued line before the Moto Mesh & Cramster's MX3) and have never faced this problem. I feel that your problem arises because you do not place the velcro of the glove properly while wearing it. Hence there is exposed velcro from the glove which latches on to the inner lining of the jacket. I always used to make sure that the 2 parts of velcro are perfectly placed over each other, this ensures a sung fit as well.

That is what i was trying to tell... if you are willing to accept the inconvenience, its ok. what if we wear a watch??? the velcro wont fix in the exact position. What for a guy with chubby hand? it wont fix exactly. That is why i said that gloves like TRG2 and Twister which go over the jacket sleeve and easy to wear and remove,.. Clear pal?

Just realised that your post was directed at lockhrt999 's question. Anyways, your problem should be solved by having the velcro properly placed with no exposed velcro.

Been using the TRG2 daily for the last few months. While the gloves do go over the jacket's sleeve, they are not easier to wear and remove compared to the smaller city gloves. The advantage of full gauntlet gloves is that they do not allow air to slip in through the wrist area of the jacket, which is great for long distance riding in the cold.

But its a different story in this bloomin' weather. I have to leave the wrist area of the Nero (zip + velcro) open when I ride within the city so as to allow air to circulate through the jacket. The full gauntlets will also protect you better in case of a fall.

                        • Joe Rocket Super Street Boots - Review

Have used my Joe Rocket Super Street Boots for about a month now/800 odd kms. Thought I'd share my observations.

                          First the +'s -

                          - Really nice looking pair of street boots. Looks great with jeans. See the pics.

                          - VERY comfortable - the sizing is spot on, so you should have no problem matching your sneaker size with the boots - easy to order online.

                          - Very well made - high quality construction and materials. I was impressed with the list of features which are explained in the video below.

                          - The toe shift area has a separate layer like most other riding boots and shows absolutely no signs of wear.

                          - The dual compound sole is an eye-opener - you can feel the difference on the foot - pegs.

                          - Though I initially found the boots a little warm to wear, I soon got used to them and I think the air vents do help force air through the boots.

YouTube - Joe Rocket Super Street Boot

                          Now the -'s;

                          - The boots are prone to scuffing - and should not be used for trudging around in the brush. I managed to damage the bottom near the sole slightly by walking around off road a bit. You should be fine though in the city.

                          - The multiple creases, cuts and folds which add to the aesthetic appeal are a pain to clean!

All things considered, I'm very pleased with my purchase and I would definitely recommend a buy!

Thanks for sharing your views. I'm hunting around for boots and the only thing that stops me from ordering online is the size. Sizing charts are helpful but i want to try and then buy.

Your review has taken me one step closer to my purchase. Thanks.

First: If you have never wore riding jacket. Let me assure you, there is no jacket in existence that you can wear in comfort in mumbai summer. Especially when you are stucked in traffic. When on the move, its tolerable. Rjay octane is mesh. I've not come across any other mesh jacket as 'well vented' as the octane and I've checked a couple of them. I remove the waterproof inner lining and the back padding so air can pass clean through from front to back.

For highway, it's a breeze, literally. The good thing is its not water resistance like some jackets. Its water proof i.e. the inner lining. This also mean its wind proof when you attached them. In short, its suitable for all climate.

Got my jacket from Bachoo motors in Tardeo (Home - BACHOO MOTOR & CYCLE COMPANY). Dont know about warranty. I never bother about them on any product I buy. I know thats a bad habit.

                              • Hi, I'm looking for some basic riding gear. A good helmet and a jacket. I was kinda looking forward at an ls2 dragon in white and red combo. Just wanted to inquire what other helmets are worth looking at. My budget for the helmet and thd jacket is 7000rs. As for the jacket, i'm open to any and all suggestions.
