Build quality is just ok. Decent protection offered. It tends to slip away a bit during long rides. Overall, satisfactory.

Anybody come across any kind of decent hip protection? I have a fair bit of gear for the rest but the hips get me really paranoid going through corners.
All I've seen so far is this full body lycra netting with rubber padding but I'm thinking on the lines of something I can carry around in a bag and wear when I chose without too much fuss
thanks

Suggestion on Riding Boots
Guys
Have been looking for some riding boots (Touring Only) for quite some time now, couldnt find the right one. Am not convinced with the Cramster stuff and the alpine stars are too costly. Had been surfing through the net and have 2 models which is impressive (This is a Off Road shoe), will this be useful for touring also
The models are Fly MX Kinetic Boot - Black & Fly Maverik ATV Boot
your suggestions and advice plsNever Give up on something that you can't go a day without thinking about.
Cheers

The Exo-400 is a very good helmet meeting SNELL & DOT standards.Originally posted by tauseef View PostNext on my list is the scorpion exo 400 scar helmet. Inputs are more than welcome
I was deciding between the HJC CL-16, Scorpion Exo-400 & Sparx S07 (all being upto $125), & finally settled for the Sparx S07 as it has less moving parts, & fitted me well. Also the spares are available here in India easily, compared to the HJC & Scorpion.
Check this review of the Exo-400: Scorpion EXO-400 Helmet - webBikeWorld
The only flipside of the helmet according to me is its high weight (comparative).
To give you an idea of the comparative sizing, I tried all the 3 helmets I mentioned above, & M on all 3 brands fitted me the same.

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

Yeah! You helped me seal it. Thanks!Originally posted by Sarvajit View PostRemember discussing with you in depth regarding this. I think you've made the best choice!

Plus I got a very good deal on the SparX. Will get the helmet this weekend/ next.
Will post details once I have it in my hands (& on my head).

Look for reviews on webbikeworld itself. There are also a lot of video reviews on youtube, by various stores that sell helmets.Originally posted by tauseef View PostThanks dude. I ll do a little research on sparx.

$49 is a very good deal for this helmet. Where did you find this? The best I could find was some $85 I think.
