Just did..The jacket looks amazing but is out of my budget.I am already on a stretched budget and that's a problem. If I buy this it would be stretched by 1000 bucks more now..And @10k you have the A* and JR jackets as well..So that way,I won't be able to buy any..
If you ride like there's no tomorrow...worry not there won't be!

A* start at 10K.and the really good looking ones are way way costlier.
whereas this comes under 10k and looks insane!!plus it is a good brand.i would suggest you to go for it.as it will be 1 time investment.even my budget is 6k,but im thinking of stretching it to get that jacket.

            cheers.

              • Hey guys I am planning to get Sidi Street Burner boots from Performance Racing store. And I am just worried that if they are a trust able bunch of guys or the other way around I am not degrading them by any means its just a newbie'ish fear that i have cause i don't have a habit of buying anything via online booking or net banking (this is surely a huge amount for a riding boot so such kinda question/fear came up to my head ). So guys please help me out.

I've bought stuff from PRS in the past, absolutely no issues dealing with Vicky Jaisingh who's a stand-up guy. Go ahead!

Pheonix is basically for cold weather and Nero for rains.
Any driven with DSG revive in rains??? Does it affect the leather?

I would rather be riding my bike thinking of God, than sitting in the temple thinking of my bike.

Phoenix - Good for cold weather (with the inner liner), Bad for rains. overall protection on the phoenix is great but not superb. I have seen phoenix and wore it for a ride too (a friend has it). I found the phoenix to be like a jacket with guards but not for safety. I mean iam odd 80 kgs and a biker like me requires heavy protection. If you are thin and of good built this is the perfect fit for you.

Nero - Superb in rains and winter, bad for summer. Overall protection is top notch. I see those extra padding over shoulders and elbows which are abrasion resist kinda gives me that extra security that I need while riding. Well this jacket is heavy..(Some posts earlier the reason was mentioned where it pulls off for quite well during a fall at greater speeds). Safety wise I would personally put it ahead of Phoenix as the jacket built quality is different and quite heavy. You can spot the difference as soon as you wear it. Apart from protection it can be worn in rainy season too. For a fat ass like me this is heaven and have been using it since 2 years without any problems. Yes the jacket does heat up in summers even if you remove the inner liner. This is one negative aspect the of the jacket.

If you plan to buy any one of them or others i would suggest you go for a small test ride just to ensure they fit you well and you can continue with your body movements. Snug fit is advised but little bit of breathing space should be there (in short pick one size large). Also big stores like DSG will give you test ride options with the jacket, just get a good feel along them. Both of them are perfect riding gear but you need to see where do you fit in.

                              • Biking accessories & riding gears available in Kolkata

                                Hi.... Friends,
It been a long time since I'm trying to find some good biking apparels & accessories in Kolkata (NO IDEA ABOUT ONLINE ORDERING & DEPENDABILITY) but it's truly quite impossible to find them & where it is available either its Fake or any Local product.
So just started the thread to discuss queries regarding the availability of various biking apparels & riding gears especially in Kolkata, as there are hardly branded shops & familiar places in Kolkata where we can get dependable & original products that are within our BUDGET that we need for OUR's............. only SINGLE PASSION i.e, BIKING.
