Me too - have used them and found them very good!

Motomania & Sunny - Well...very expensive for my current need; If I buy Olympia, then I've to put my JR for primary use. The only reason I want to stay away from putting JR to primary is because, I can't keep cleaning, especially the leather on the top. I forgot about the maintenance part when it came to buying one & was only looking out for maximum protection.

@ Argee - I thought you had settled on the Shift? That's a good choice IMHO for a budget buy and everyday riding.

Tks Sunny; I'm trying to keep some backup incase MC's say they're out of stock.

Another question - How good are BELL helmets? I see a few of them at a local store that fits my size. They're DOT approved & few a SNELL too & available at around $80. Is it worth buying? Pls advice.

Not used in rain...just received it today...but seems there is an inner rain protection liner and Thermal liner too. Great qaulity stuff.

Congrats on your purchase a.jayamohan.The red one looks uber-cool.I have ordered the T-rc1 in black(and the package has arrived too!) but I think the red looks seriously cool.Seems I made a wrong color choice
Anyway,You and Lijok,both say the liner is not removable but in the video review of the same jacket by STG,the liner is shown to be completely removable! I am right now out of town and will check my jacket only on Monday once I reach back.Could you guys please confirm if the liner is not removable? Or,you guys are missing something? hey guys i bought TRC1 too! Red colour.looks amazing indeed...love it everytime i look at it.
yes the inner lining and all the guards/protections are removable.

Guys , I am looking to buy a pair of decent gloves by this week. Budget 3k max. Short cuff gloves preferrable.
I dont my new gloves to be waterproof coz these generally are not usable in hot , city riding conditions. But I dont want soaking wet palms that you get in a full textile glove like the Cross gloves that I currently use.
So the best glove for me would be ? options :

The thermal liner is removable, but the rain liner is not... It is meant for rain use...

Congrats for your new A* jacket mate Actually I ordered for black one but L size is not stock with DSG and it will be only avilable August 1st week. The thermal liner is removable and the rain liner is permanently fixed for rain use. Enjoy

Again, nothing much to differentiate except style IMO. A bit too "Scorpion King" for my taste but that's purely subjective.

~ Bell Helmets are one of few manufacturers who have most if not all their helmets SNELL certified in addition to their DOT specs. The debate is still on whether that's a good or bad thing and makes them a bit on the heavy side but generally very well made.

Periodic cleaning/washing is the only go. I had this trouble with my Cramster pulse... that is why I went for all black with the A*s...

hey, after replacement of rain liner, tell me is the new liner 100% waterproof, as mentioned on website.

No the new liner is still not 100% waterproof . Yeah but it is better than the old one. Water used to enter through the shoulder and elbow section on the arms in the old one. Whereas the new liner water enters only through elbow region and that too under very heavy rains.

I dont think any liner would be 100% waterproof. Even water enters my duckback jacket through the zip and welcro under heavy rains.
Thats why I said that the new one is far more better than the old one.
