Another question - How good are BELL helmets? I see a few of them at a local store that fits my size. They're DOT approved & few a SNELL too & available at around $80. Is it worth buying? Pls advice.

Motomania & Sunny - Well...very expensive for my current need; If I buy Olympia, then I've to put my JR for primary use. The only reason I want to stay away from putting JR to primary is because, I can't keep cleaning, especially the leather on the top. I forgot about the maintenance part when it came to buying one & was only looking out for maximum protection.Originally posted by Sunnyside_up! View Post
Tks Sunny; I'm trying to keep some backup incase MC's say they're out of stock.Originally posted by Sunnyside_up! View Post

I am right now out of town and will check my jacket only on Monday once I reach back.Could you guys please confirm if the liner is not removable? Or,you guys are missing something? Here's the link to the video:

Guys , I am looking to buy a pair of decent gloves by this week. Budget 3k max. Short cuff gloves preferrable.
I dont my new gloves to be waterproof coz these generally are not usable in hot , city riding conditions. But I dont want soaking wet palms that you get in a full textile glove like the Cross gloves that I currently use.
So the best glove for me would be ? options :
Axo Pro Race AXO Pro Race Gloves : Black - 2,499.00Rs
DSG Nitro DSG Nitro Gloves: Black - 2,749.00Rs
DSG Revive DSG Revive Gloves - 1,990.00RsWARNING : This bike has been Joel-ed
Tuned By Raceconcepts : Mutant P220

Actually I ordered for black one
but L size is not stock with DSG and it will be only avilable August 1st week. The thermal liner is removable and the rain liner is permanently fixed for rain use. Enjoy

Again, nothing much to differentiate except style IMO. A bit too "Scorpion King" for my taste but that's purely subjective.
~ Bell Helmets are one of few manufacturers who have most if not all their helmets SNELL certified in addition to their DOT specs. The debate is still on whether that's a good or bad thing and makes them a bit on the heavy side but generally very well made.

Ok, Tks on the Jacket; I've sent an email to them for now & I hope they'll get back to me tomorrow & will keep you posted on the update. I saw a few of them even under $99, but posting all of them, will only mess up. Let me hear from them & keep posted. Tks for your guidance.
Oh!!! Excellent!!! Then I'll try getting BELL from a local store here; I see a few of the BELL with SNELL approved & fits precisely & most importantly...under $99. I hope its atleast a worth or a steal deal?Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

Periodic cleaning/washing is the only go. I had this trouble with my Cramster pulse... that is why I went for all black with the A*s...Originally posted by Aniket_N View PostThanks! Congrats to you too

No the new liner is still not 100% waterproofOriginally posted by princesirohi View Posthey, after replacement of rain liner, tell me is the new liner 100% waterproof, as mentioned on website.
what do you exactly mean by " the new rain liner is far more better than the old one
."
plz tell.
. Yeah but it is better than the old one. Water used to enter through the shoulder and elbow section on the arms in the old one. Whereas the new liner water enters only through elbow region and that too under very heavy rains.
I dont think any liner would be 100% waterproof. Even water enters my duckback jacket through the zip and welcro under heavy rains.
Thats why I said that the new one is far more better than the old one.
