My fellow Kolkata Xbhpians will agree to that. What I need is some suggestions from you guys and specially my fellow Kolkata Xbhpians about which jacket to buy for this kind of weather. I was thinking about the Cramster Breezer 4.0, the DSG Maze and DSG Nero jackets. Cramster boasts Breezer to be about the perfect all weather jacket and will be comfortable in hot and humid climates. Nothing special is written about the Maze and Nero. So guys please let me choose the correct jacket. Thanks guys.
Today I bought the Cramster Breezer for 5k and Rode for around 60kms ranging from stop and go Traffic to empty Highways
No prob at all and Very Happy with it two removable liners, one for Rain and one for Winter. Without them good amount of Breeze enters to keep you cool
I was postponing the purchase as I have bought knee & elbow guards but Read in this very forum somewhere that "a few drops of sweat is a lot worth more than few bottles of Blood"
Thank You whoever said it, really got Motivated

    • Hey guys they say textile is better than mesh when it comes to protection. Is that true? If so, wouldn't textile jackets be recommended over mesh if you're using them for touring? (Note: Only touring, not city rides, which would imply average speed of at least 70, allowing sufficient breeze anyway)

since you have perticularly mentioned humidity, go for RJays Octane. Will cost you something 7.5k. nothing matches its ventilation. i have been using it for last 8-9 months. loving it. it has CE approved armour too.

well bro, which jacket you have?? if its textile jacket then no problems, just remove the armour and wash it like you wash your shirt. though avoid washing machine

if its a leather jacket, well it needs some more attention. since i haven't used leather jacket, can't say much about it.

No offence meant but if you can spend Rs 9.5 k on a good jacket, I think you should be able to spend a half an hour with this wonderful companion called the Search function. This thread is filled with all the details you require. All you need is time

This is for everyone who asks questions that have been answered several time already. Its not that noone wants to help but the answers are under your noses.

                    • I want some reviews on DSG Jackets: Falcon & also rawadventures riding trousers: P017, as I would be buying them soon (this is the only riding jacket which fits in my current budget). I have searched this thread but there is not much discussion on this dsg falcon. No one uses this or what?? How is its ventilation?

If you wanted a well ventilated jacket and don't want to compromise on the protection then loosen your purse strings a little bit and go for the DSG Maze. The Maze is a Riding Jacket with Mesh Contruction.

RawAdventures? Is it a new riding gear brand?

I want you guys to suggest me good knee guards. I was thinking of buying the a* bionic which come for 5250 INR, but if i can get similar knee pads of same quality/protection, i can spend the saved money on my jacket...
What about scoyoco knee pads? they are available in my city for about 1400 rupees(there is a dealer of raw adventures present in my city)

Any idea what kind of protection the following trousers provide?
                          Scoyoco

Just saw a website selling knox knee guards... read a lot of people mentioning them in xbhp but cant find any reviews on them.
Can someone suggest if these are good. Also compare them to a* bionic.

                              • Just wanna say the guy at Smart Designs in Wadala, Mumbai knows his stuff! Knowledgeable and really helpful and courteous. Enjoyed doing business with him! Definitely would recommend getting gears from him as I had a bad experience with a famous seller in Oshiwada. And no I'm not getting paid to say this. I just bought a helmet from them today and was very happy with the transaction.
