As above, if you want to buy from any US website (not just the ones listed on the ICC World site) just follow the procedure and they will revert fairly quickly (a day or two) with the quotation door to door inclusive of shipping and taxes, they're pretty efficient and helpful, although the onus is on you to contact them if there is any delay (I guess that's just the way it is everywhere) I had ordered some tools from the US one package although light in weight was over 8ft long, their regular courier (I think Blue Dart) refused to send it from Bombay to Goa, so the delay was in finding a reliable courier to send it to my address, they sent it by road in the end and everything reached intact. I ended up paying around 4 grand in shipping from US to my house and import duties, the value of goods was 16 grand, I think it worked out pretty ok, had I shipped directly myself I would have paid much more. DSG Gloves Comparo
Can someone compare DSG's Carbon, Vector and Primal gloves w.r.t Quality of leather, Grip (would depend on leather softness i guess), Air Ventilation, Water Proofing etc?

Many brands use the same armor for both elbows and knees. So if you can get one off an old jacket, it should serve you fine!

after +2 years of usage, still looks brand new, velcro straps are strong as ever, and the elbow strap does not come out either.

Rain liner is only good for light rains
Back protector is only sponge so not really that useful.

And yeah talking about the chinese ones...here is a full camo from LEWIS !
However one cant easily differentiate between the original and the chinese by just looking at it! You have to have a second look !
A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels,scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

RJays Edge boot first impression
Got myself a pair of RJays Edge boots, after much deliberation between them and the H2O boots. I wanted a pair which were weatherproof. Especially good with rains/water, as I ride to work, which any office-communting biker during monsoons would know, is a total pain. Unless you have the right gear. I searched online for reviews of this boot, but apart from a few lines, I hardly found any. Still I decided to go for them, and also write a few lines/impressions of this boot. Got the boot from Bachoo Motor & Cycle Company, and I was told for my feet (size 9), 43 would be appropriate. Found the fit to be flawless. My feel are long and narrow, and they fit really well. The boot has an 'Aquashield membrane' which is supposed to be waterproof. Found that believable, after I wore the boots. Have to actually test them in rains, as nothing is more disgusting than sitting with wet shoes/socks, or smelly feet after riding through rain/puddles.
The boots have a velcro flap closure after you zip them up, and they are adjustable for tightness around the calf to a certain extent, if you fold the boot sleeve around your calf and just play with the velcro flap. My legs/calves are real thin, and I had about a 2-3 finger gap near the top of the boot. Probably that's for people who have well muscled calves [
]. Walking around seemed robotic at first, with the boot being real stiff. I purposely took my doggy for a walk [late night, so nobody would pelt me with stones or mistake me for ET
) to actually see how would it feel walking with them. They felt heavy, as I have never worn boots in my life. I took about 200 meters to adjust, but then I could walk. To a certain extent the boots will break-in, as they were new, so yeah, there will be some ankle flexibility once they take to the shape and movement of human feet. One thing that will take getting used to is the trademark 'boot' sound while walking. Say goodbye to silent footsteps in these. I wore them with socks, and tucked my jeans into them [slim fit jeans, and in hopes of making my calves slightly fatter
]. I looked at myself in a mirror, and yeah, kinda looked a sportbike guy. A tall and skinny one.
Went for a ride and got curious stares everywhere, but guess that's taken for granted, in Kolkata, India. Boots have solid protection in the heel area, toe area feels stiff, and although there are no plastic inserts, they feel tough enough to handle impact/abration/laceration. Shin area also has plastic/pvc injected rubber protection, with a replaceable shin guard, but that did not feel as solid as the heel guard, but is definitely strong enough to take impact, as I bashed my shin into the footpeg while bringing my right foot up at a signal and felt absolutely nothing. Toe sliders included! Long way to go before I 'ground' them, or have to replace them, but they make the boots look good. Boots also have toe-shifter/brake lever [???] pads to prevent scuffing.
Now about the actual motorcycle use. I found swinging my leg over the bike difficult. Comes with the territory. Soles are anti-slip, and that's no joke. I had sopping wet floor to the garage, but I could easily push the bike while sitting on it, without my feet slipping. I will have to re-adjust the gear lever position and the brake lever position, and lower them, as the sole is thick, and moreover the boot does not allow sneaker-style ankle movement, so for ease of use, lowering both levers recommended. Best part about the boot I felt is because of the sole you feel as if the footpegs have suddenly become higher, and I found that position better for gripping the tank with my knees. I will go to my fav cornering place, and try and check how they feel while actually cornering. Thats about it for now. Yeah, the important thing. How much? 9300/- with shipping. Special thanks to Bachoo Motors, they delivered real quick, and also responded to my inquiries pretty quick. Will keep addding to the user experience if anyone's interested, if not, well, sorry for the boredom.

i have also used edge boots. they are really good. but i had to sell them to one of my friends due to some very funny reason. anyway, you seem to be very optimist about its waterproof ability. well then let me tell you, they are not bad but not excellent also. if you ride in heavy rains for long, your socks will get wet. slowly though. so, if your office is not way far from your home it wont be a problem. also, you said something about ankle movement and problem with gear shifting. dont worry, let the boot brake in, this will go away for sureOriginally posted by svjhonda View PostGot myself a pair of RJays Edge boots, after much deliberation between them and the H2O boots. but your ankle movement will restricted till a good extent, but it is supposed to be that way. because riding boot should stop your ankle from twisting. its not just to take the impact. and the brake lever pad on your right boot is just because both boots should look identical to each other. else its of no use. hope this helps

but your ankle movement will restricted till a good extent, but it is supposed to be that way. because riding boot should stop your ankle from twisting. its not just to take the impact. and the brake lever pad on your right boot is just because both boots should look identical to each other. else its of no use. hope this helps 
yes the boots needs bear-in before you can comfortably change gears and use rear brake pedals properly. once you get used to it, and boots break-in, its pretty easy. but even after break-in, H20 boots make it difficult to climb stairs.
