I have a DSG Maze which is almost mesh with leather paddings. I clean it when it gets very dirty since it has leather paddings on Shoulders, wrists & waist line. I remove all the protectors before wash. I use Ezee (used for woolen clothes) since it's a mild detergent. I completely submerge my jacket 2-3 times in the detergent mixed water & take out immediately. With dry cloth wipe off the leather parts of any water & hang it outside but not under direct sunlight. Then apply coconut oil with a cloth on the leather parts. When the oil gets soaked up, apply shiner/polish.Originally posted by mitz View PostMesh riding gear: This is easy - try vacuum cleaning the dirt out of the mesh crevices and seams using a bristle attachment. Then use a damp cloth to clean the mesh. Most of the mesh used is synthetic, so it will not absorb water if you run the surface with a damp cloth. And if you have done some serious mud plogging and the cleaning is beyond the abilities of your vacuum cleaner, and hand wash the garment in lukewarm water with a soft detergent. Avoid the machine washing your mesh garments, and NEVER dry clean. Dry cleaning solvents will strip your garment of special finishes (water proofing for example) if your jacket is treated with one. Let the garment hang out in shade and do not wring it - let it drip."HASTA LA VICTORIA, SIEMPRE !" - Chesigpic

Agree to what RX has mentioned here. Here are my 2 cents :-
I have an RJays Octane and as per the instructions from Zulfi himself (Bachoo Motors) , just remove the armours and then hand wash it with a mild detergent. However, since its a mesh jacket special care has to be taken while rinsing it. I mean while rinsing make sure the jacket is held at the right spots otherwise the mesh might get stretched unknowingly and eventually get torn. Its pretty simple though. Regarding the armour, I think you there is no need to mention it as its even easier to clean them.

Hi All,
Just got a message from Saurabh at bikegear.in. They are offering A* GP Plus gloves for INR 2800 + free shipping
. I think its a steal deal
. Thought this might be helpful to fellow bikers who are looking out to buy a nice pair of gloves.
Hence, shared it here.
Still, I will check with him tomorrow morning and confirm it here once again.

The Alpinestars GP Plus which saurabh is offering is REPLICA of original glove & not the original & is not good enough like the original one too. Why does Jetstream command more pricey than Octane when both of them have almost the same construction type & material used except for velcroes & stuffs?Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle
Awareness + Skill is what keeps you out of harm's way
