Yes he is from Pune. He works in nearly all the vehicles but I am not sure about R15. You can have a talk to him and confirm. I have got very good experience from him.

Hello Friends,

I m Amar Pradhan from Pune and new to this site.
I met with an accident few years back due to which i avoided driving RD 350 ( 1983 model ) . Now that i m fine with the grace of god i m planning to ride my RD350 . But my bike condition now is lil bad as i didnt even started the engine all this 5 years.

I am planning to give it a new look, there is lot of work needed to be done on it coz its rusted too.

I wanted to know who is the best machanic for RD350 in Pune who loves to work with RD.
Also i wanted RD350 owners Handbook and workshop Manual

So please let me know if u can help me out to find a good mechanic n the manuals.

Dear xperts,
Previously i have problem with my pulsar200 dtsi carburetor diaphram and i have replaced my carb with bs32(220 carb) now i'm having intake manifold leakage m.i want to know that 220 carb intake manifold will be a direct fit on 200.please do reply me kindly waiting for your reply

Shirish Joshi is a good mechanic. I was suggested his name by our famous Dilip Bam and Shirish has lived up to his name. He is meticulous and comes with a notebook to notedown your queries and gives you a call once his work is done. He has normally quite a good number of regular customers.

He is the only mechanic I have seen who stops us from replacing parts! Whatever part you tell him, he will tell that it still can be used for some x kms! My friend was suggested to replace his silencer for some minor holes from other mechanic and this guy did the same job for few bucks and the silencer is still going on. I was suggested to overhaul the engine, Shirish suggested me to add engine additives and decarbonize the engine rather than opening it. He charged me 92 rs Mrp for replacing bearing and labour cost 8 rs! some years back. In that 8 Rs labour he also changed the front tyre which was wrongly fitted (in opposite direction).

I would recommend him for sure. Lot of good reviews from many persons heard before.

For owners of Yamaha two strokes in Chandigarh : Ramesh in Sector 20 Behind meat market. Mob 9878035282. He's extremely competent in terms of troubleshooting. He is not a performance tuner in terms of upgrades but reliably has upgraded several RX 100 , RD350 bikes (12v, cdi). Ramesh is an old gentleman and very proficient, though his son is more worldly wise in terms of making profits ;-)
