what is your pc config??

1. mine is 256 mb DDR I ram
2. some nvidia card
3. 2.8 GHz HT intel processor
4. some motherboard.... original motherboards for my processor are no longer available .. place for one graphic card only
i wanted to change the graphic card and ram
but
the dealers say that i cannot fit any new graphic card because my comp is not compatible

By looking at your config, most probably you have a motherboard with an AGP slot. Its high time for an upgrade if you like gaming.

@outworldly maniac, the consoles are meant for one purpose that is playing games, while a PC is a general-purpose tool. The games made for the consoles are made so they run fine on the consoles. Rather than the hardware being optimised for the games, the games are optimised for the hardware! (For us PC owners we do the reverse and pay lots of $$s for it too)
So that is why the graphics look great (but if we compare graphics for a game available on both PC and consoles, the PC always looks better).

the main difference between console coding and PC coding is that,console graphics are coded such that they look awesome when viewed from a certain distance.normally LCDs and Plasmas require a certain distance to enjoy maximum clarity and stuff.

in the PC,80% of the time the viewing distance is merely in inches.so the concept here is to make everything fine.

a bad example of porting console to PC was mercenaries2.

PC is how you use it.Consoles are mainly entertainment centers.movies games masti magic.but there are people who have modded consoles and are running OS on that.

porting is a thing when console games are brought to the PC.control systems are changed and assigned,graphics are adjusted and other supporting systems are handled.Game companies earn a lot more through consoles rather than PC.so one can now see that through comparative analysis consoles have more releases than PC.

yeah it has a AGP slot.... but still it holds a graphic cards...if i would have been some higher rating graphic card it would have been eligible for playing todays games rite

that is a very good game and also try prototype. I would rather suggest wait for may be two more weeks so that proper update patches are out, as with the current games u might sometimes experience stutters or mouse lags.........
