^ Intel Pentium 4 and DDR1. His motherboard has definitely got an AGP slot. Can't be a PCI-e slot.
@outworldly maniac, the consoles are meant for one purpose that is playing games, while a PC is a general-purpose tool. The games made for the consoles are made so they run fine on the consoles. Rather than the hardware being optimised for the games, the games are optimised for the hardware! (For us PC owners we do the reverse and pay lots of $$s for it too)
So that is why the graphics look great (but if we compare graphics for a game available on both PC and consoles, the PC always looks better).200 | 300 | 1200 BOXER

the main difference between console coding and PC coding is that, console graphics are coded such that they look awesome when viewed from a certain distance.normally LCDs and Plasmas require a certain distance to enjoy maximum clarity and stuff.
in the PC,80% of the time the viewing distance is merely in inches.so the concept here is to make everything fine.
a bad example of porting console to PC was mercenaries2.
PC is how you use it.Consoles are mainly entertainment centers.movies games masti magic
.but there are people who have modded consoles and are running OS on that.
porting is a thing when console games are brought to the PC.control systems are changed and assigned, graphics are adjusted and other supporting systems are handled.Game companies earn a lot more through consoles rather than PC.so one can now see that through comparative analysis consoles have more releases than PC.
anvancythere are no stupid questions.
but there are stupid people.

yeah it has a AGP slot.... but still it holds a graphic cards...if i would have been some higher rating graphic card it would have been eligible for playing todays games rite

my power machine is powered by INTEL 2.8GHZ DUALCORE CPU(PURCHASED IN 2007 I THINK SO)
ON INTEL ORIGINAL MOTHERBOARD(NO ASUS,MERCURY,....)
NVIDIA 256MB
SATA 160 HDD
DVDWRITER
2+2GB RAM
INTEX MONITOR(CRT)
WIRELESS KEYBOARD\MOUSE.
5.1 CREATIVE HOME THEATRE.
IT WORKS FOR ME AS A TURBO HORSE WHICH IS EAGER TO TAKE ANY OF THE LATEST (I SHOULD USE LARGE MEMORY CONSUMING) SOFTWAREZ\GAMES.+I HAVE ADDED TWO FANS IN CABINET FOR BETTER COOLING.BEFORE WHEN FANS WERE NOT ADDED THE CPU FAN HAS TO DO A HELL LOT OF WORK THUS, MOST OF THE TIMES IT HAS TO RUN WITH FULL SPEED AND MAKING ANNOYING SOUND SO DECIDED TO ADD TWO MORE FANS AND THE COMBI ROCKS

that is a very good game and also try prototype. I would rather suggest wait for may be two more weeks so that proper update patches are out, as with the current games u might sometimes experience stutters or mouse lags.........Originally posted by undefineme3 View Posthas anyone tried X Men Origins: Wolverine? is it a good buy?
.....u can get *ahem* version of it......whatz ur system specs bro
