I am hoping for new variants. But i am still not able to convince myself that does the TVS has a good after sales service. That is my main concern fellas .......
FZ's mileage is a lil more than 30... if you ride it well expect anything between 35-40... so you are also concerned with mileage too, rite? mmm...

Service is an issue with almost everyone... you can probably ask this question on the ownership thread if you are clear about the RTR
Ooooooooooo RTR Hyper Edge Sounds Nice....!!!!! Any links.? Any more INfo...??

If you find Dazzler too small for your size then RTR is not so different, hope you have ridden the RTR... else take a TD and come back... if it doesn't make you smile, the doctor will prescribe another...
Benoy Yes man....... I am inclined towards the RTR. And yes I have ridden it. I am fine with it. Still i am planning to go for a test ride. May be you get such kind of mileage in Kerala. But in Mumbai...phew.....

          rishi... just curious...
if bajaj is willing to buy the bike back (and isn't that like an admission of their guilt?)...
and since this is probably a freak P220...

haven't they considered replacing the bike entirely?

Yeah May be.... I Should be mostly be provided with a replacement. But now I have had it. They normally also buy second hand bikes too. A friend of mine had also sold his bike to the dealership from where he had purchased it. Accept for the problems I have had no other memories with this bike. If they create more difficulties I am ready to go to consumer court with this matter . Its not about the money, But the F grade service they provide. I suppose i was also given a second hand bike too. Lets see now how these things progresses. And i can surely threaten them . After all i am a member of XBHP. Mouth communication may also affect their sales . Who knows.?

                - where did u buy ur bike from? an authourized dealer?
                - and which pro-biking service centre tried to solve the issues you had?

whether u're bothered about the money or not... if ur bike has issues, the pro-biking guys have to solve the problems u have.

I've always made sure I get proper customer service... no-matter-what...
be it flat-Coke at McDonalds or replacing a MacBook Pro under warranty.

I had a few issues with my P180UGIII when I bought it... I made sure all my problems were solved ASAP (O Believe me! )... the bike was under warranty.

                1. I had the digital meter console changed thrice.

                2. Changed the rear cowl about 4-5 times because the mounting brackets kept cracking (because bajaj never bothered putting a rubber 'washer' between the bolt and frame... so it would end up cracking over n over)

didn't pay a dime for any of the replacements.

now i know you've had far worse issues than mine... and u're prolly fed-up...
but if I were you I'd make sure Bajaj replaced my bike.

forget about the consumer court... get in touch with some-one from Bajaj Auto

                  To the thread starter:

Spend some good 3-4 days test driving RTR, FAZER/FZ.
Tell the test ride giving guy that you'll fill the bike with worth 50 bucks of petrol he'll give you a good round in the bike then, and make your decision.

FAzer/ will win your heart with smoothness, shifts and style.
and RTR is all about POWER and it forgets about smoothness while doing so, in fact it's god damn "vib'y" but you'll love it!!!!

Dude, there is no PBK in Mumbai. I purchased the bike from Sai Service. It is supposed to be one of the most reputed dealers across india. I have to get my bike serviced at a normal service center. The only possible PBK is at thane.
                    Regarding the warranty
I got my seat changed, locks changed, fairing changed and many more isssues dude.. But may be the bike itself is not interested....... I dont know .I feel the machine did not choose me I chose my machine.

Dude budget is not a concern. I am ready to pay a good some of money.
My daily commute is around 40-50 kms
I am considering other bikes but considering my journey i need good pick up also man. Therefore i am inclined towards RTR
