dude sorry to burst your bubble ... but i own a pulsar 220 dtsi 10k kms) and i think shes the best.. and i got mine in early august 09 and it was out of the one of the first few batches of 220s in bangalore. ive had a lot of problems as well but managed to sort them out ... and when i say ive had problems, i mean really serious stuff ... coz the first batches of the 220s were pretty defective..

had my starter clutch blown to bits twice and replaced under warranty

my speedo sensor got busted and got that replaced under warranty as well

replaced the mirrors and changed to the rtr ,irrors

used to have too much sound coming from the fairing but i took it apart and stuffed double tape everywhere and now there is no sound.

but now shes fine and i simply love her. Looking forward to changing to synthetic oil and iridium sparks.. so if you havent sold your 220 the i would urge you to stick to her ...
But there is no denying that rtr 180 is a good bike.. but i think 220 is a great bike ...

      Dont go for apache.
You know the hyper edge may be a facelift and getting spares and resale will be an issue as you will own an older bike just after a month of owning it.

And havent you had enough of these Indian brands?
Once they sell the bike, to hell with customer.
No After Sales support, poor FE, performance nowhere close to what is advertised.
All these are typical indian manufacturer characteristics.
      Yeah..so true!

No after sales service..Nothing.They sell the bike and disappear...Is it the case Mr.Yamaha MT-01??

I am sure you own some Yamaha or Honda product.Hence, the superiority quotient in your posts.

BTW,Does your bike go to Japan for servicing ?..Or,the Japs come here to service your bike?..You see,Indians are good for nothing..So,may be I was thinking....

You have had bad experience with your Pulsar.Fine.We sympathize. But please, don't generalize and blame everyone else(Indian) who's in business!
If you ride like there's no tomorrow...worry not there won't be!

.You cannot say that to Indian brands man. My dad has changed around 8-9 cars but he never sold of his bajaj chetak till now. He says the scooter is very reliable. Its been almost 25 years now He is using it. People own splendors for decades buddy. Kawasaki as you say is not gonna be Serviced by the Japs if i am not wrong its going to be serviced by the normal service mechanics who are Indian and have been trained to deal with it.

Whenever i take my bajaj to the dealership, they say nothing can be done to this bike..
Is this the way to treat customers?

              I miss my SBK

Buddy you wont believe this , but my friend and I took the delivery on the same day and we guys are like friends for life. His bike is in such awesome conditions . He himself is surprised how his bike gives him an average of 38kmpl whereas i just get 18-20 average buddy. I have faced so many severe problems where as his bike is still going strong. I have visited the servicing station so many times nowadays that everyone knows me by my name. They themselves are tired of it. As one of the xbhpians said there might be chances that the Sales must have given me a Freak 220. A defective one....

Keep the bike in the service station only. Dont get it back. And go to sales and create a scene over there and threaten that you want to sue them in the court of law.And many more. This time i blasted at them they came to my house with a towing van to take my bike. Get into their nerves.

And which SBK . you owned.?

And they have tried their best, they cant improve the FE.
Heck, even half of the city's mechanics have tried it.
                    FE is still 35.

                    Read my signature, buddy.

Had the ninja for 3 days.
A bad crash and the bike was wrecked.
                        Dad says no more SBKs.
He didnt even buy me a pulsar.
He says buy CT100 or travel by DTC.
Started travelling by DTC and my cellphone got stolen.
So finally got this piece of crap.
