    ^^And joel bro..
Im sure you can vouch for the reliability of the Fiero engine

IMHO.. The RTR-FI seems to fit the bill better than the FZ as per your needs..

And the FZ is being given for test rides here in Bangalore atleast.. So you might wanna take another shot at getting a test ride...

The RTR's positives are its strong engine, reliability and performance. Throw anything you want at it. Also its the cheapest to maintain. Cost of engine spares are very low.

Wait for FZ to show of what it has

Coz RTR is proved --- FZ is yet to show what it has besides its Tractor tyres and Heavy looks..........

But if you want anything soon and a reliable one - Close your Eyes and go for either RTR or RTRFI

lots of RTR on street, is small... moreover Fi is not available or has a very long waiting period.

Fz looks damn neat, is made for city, is from reliable yamaha and sure is a head turner.

Nothing against Apache, just that Fz looks manly and is a chick magnet (ask borat)

oh! btw, owning a machine from three tuning forks is something special in itself

I was on cross roads with these two bike, i chose Fz

              Good luck!

No second thoughts, go for RTR FI. You could have considered the Yamaha if it had a little more power and if looks were a priority.

How I wish the FZ had another 4 horses atleast. At 13.6bhp, its not gonna be any faster than even a CBZ extreme. With a peak power at 7500rpm, its anti-performance.

true.... can R15 engine, transmission and Fi unit of R-15 be plonked on to Fz-16?

Righty! That small pillion seat would indeed be a boon, if you're intending to have your GF behind!

That'd mean, time to change........... GF! Anyhow, if she holds you tight, she shouldn't complain about it being uncomfy.. People do have happy GFs, riding as pillions in SBKs.. FZ16's lil pillion seat would provide near to it experience... It's just different way to see the glass, half-empty or, half full.
