well according to me RTR carb is excelent ... nothing matches its performance in <200 cc segment ..
about the engine .. well i puerly think that it is based on maintanence ..
.. no engine gives an expire date ..
how you ride and how you maintain decides the life of the bike ..
if i were you i would go for RTR-FI

ps- have you seen the rear sear of FZ 16 .. i am sure no human being can sit behind that
I will second that, life of the engine of your bike highly depends on that how u r maintaining it. I am using a ZMA which conisdered as a relaible machine but i end up screwing its engine in just 2 years and 36000 kms, and the sole reason was lack of maintanence.

As far as choice between RTR and FZ concerned i will go for the FZ but it willbe more of an emotional decision rather than a calculated or rational one. But the kind of requirments you guys have on any given day RTR fits the bill.

Okay i wrote the upper portion of msg prior to reading your post that you guys have already finalized the RTR..Congrats..

yea Yamaha Fz16 is the bike on the move and its a 2009 model....yamaha devoleped two models yzf r15 and fz16 clearely want to make it a hit in india and these two bikes are used for the rebuilding processes and they cant go wrong with these 2 permium models...so i would say better to go for fz16!

is the rear seat very hard to seat a person? or difficult for ladies to sit on one side?
