Not at all. Purely because of the high price.

It will never be as punchy as HD Superlow.. Moreover Superlow's engine is Push Rod, no matter what pipe u put on ST7.. it will never sound as good as HD. HD's aircooled engine is best suited for Indian summer. HD has better customization option even in India, and support is better too.
Exactly my point why I haven't gone ahead with ST7.

But that is what I think. Everybody is entitled to an opinion.
GC is one issue with SuperLow. However, now that Street Bob is getting assembled in India, spoilt with choices.
Edit: Maybe another reason why I prefer the ST7 over the Harleys is because I don't like thumpers too much and the Harleys are exactly that.
You don't like Thumpers . What are you even looking at in cruisers then??
    Thanks,

+1 ST7 engine's peaky nature sounds so un-cruserish . Thanks for pointing that. HD has all the right characteristics except the GC which can be handled.

Some of the SuperLows have been modded to increase GC to 125mm. You would have to spend around 30k for that...

Have you bought either of the bike???
If not, its superlow all the way. Also how did you manage to get a test drive of the bike?
Capital Harley Delhi are not giving test drives!!

Harley's Night Rod (Rs 19,80,000) catches my eye than rest of them.

Test ride the Night Rod before going for Harley SuperLow (Rs 5,60,000).
Customizing SuperLow will turn all the heads on your bike.

Superlow eyes closed. Simply due to the fact that its HD. If I were a cruiser, I would always pick a HD ride than any other. But do take a test ride just to be sure.

P.S: Have any thoughts on Iron 883?

Have spoken to the guys for a test drive of the 48. They say the ground clearance is the same.. Dont know if that will help.
Also they'r saying that the iron will be available for test drive sometime in December.. I think I'll wait till then.

Is there much difference in driving the iron and superlow?

Small difference in power and little more mm to gorund clearance!

If ground clearance is a concern then for indian roads i don't think the minute difference of mm in Iron or Super low will make any difference. But there is a small difference in power too.

If you can then Iron looks better then Super low.

Took a test drive of the IRON.
Man.. it felt too good. I was given some basic instructions. Then left alone on the bike. Their guy said he would be leading me.
So I sort of reversed it, started the bike. The thump I got was amazing. Had no difficulty at all.
Took a 5 km drive on the Nelson Mandela marg Delhi. Touched about 100kmph. It was so easy.
Had no problems in maneuvering the bike.

That was the time I made up my mind. Will be booking the bike on 30th November. Super excited. Waiting for the Superlow!
