    ^^ Thanks for your suggestion.
But if at all I am buying a 150, it would be a blue yammi...

i choose cbr over gt 250 r.reasons are obvious.
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

            Thanks guys.
Got to know that GT is getting launched on may 1st or 2nd week.
But liked Cbr250r as bike but not really can't digest it's VFRish styling.

as of now even i am disappointed with GTR250R's 5-Speed transmission & absence of LC, but let's not decide anything before testing it in flesh..that's why i said that "look" for it after its launch n didn't say "go" for it..I know CBR250R is a VFM product but in performance GT250R will be better, so let's not neglect that option..

True, But seems like Gt250R will be a lac costlier than CBR

I called Satya mitra motors in Bangalore(Garware motors dealer)

The guy there stated that new GT250R will be priced between 2.5 to 2.9 OTR.
And it's a liquid cooled engine. And we can expect official launch anytime soon from Garware.

                    is it a confirmed liquid-cooled.?

I asked him twice if it is liquid cooled. He said yes. Going by the price there are chances.

                        • Guys,
I am back with my dilema.
The wait for GT250R is almost getting over and it is out of my list now (blame the price)
I narrowed down my list to R15 V2 and CBR 250R STD.
I am looking for a one which is fun to be ridden.
I really like the R15 for it's looks,But CBR is not far behind.
Which bike is more fun riding?
Can someone who ridden both bikes tell me how CBR fares in corners in camparison to R15? (sclae of 1 to 10 would be great)

I am okie with R15's seating. Heard lot about CBR's high profile rear tyre a spoilsport in corners.
But if CBR performs not equally but atleast well against R15, I can give it a thought.
I have ridden my friends R15 V1, but not V2.
Soon I will be getting a test ride. Till then I can get some inputs from you all.

                          Thanks
                          Vivek

                          • if you wants something that seriously handles well, then its the r15.(if you have the skills you love the r15 only after riding it) cbr(rather a cbr with vfr styling) its too lazy for me, its what the zmr should be today. if you want relaxed driving and low end fun buy the cbr, or else for serious riding go for the r15.. please no honda or yamaha fanboy replies..

I do not know about R15, but, what you can expect from CBR 250R is clearly outlined on post #7500 in CBR 250R Ownership thread; also go through post #7600 if you want to have a feel of ownership experience...all stated clearly in black & white; no grey areas!!!

First of all thanks guys for your inputs.
@ aargee, your posts (FAQ) are pretty much detailed about CBR. Great work man!!

                                I am a happy GS150R owner.
Have toured lot on that. Super smooth engine and It's a great tourer, no doubt about it.
But whenever I hit corners, I feel less confident.
Though I am not so good in that department, would like learn that art.

So more feelings for R15. I have to do a test ride ASAP.
