It is. Remove the space between bike and advice.
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Think we've had enough discussion on this topic.

Thank you... Should have done this a lot before i guess.
@ the selector. Please prefer the review provided by Antz Bin. A good one though and also consider other aspects like after sales service and spares.

and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

Simplifying :
Apache for Power
Fazer for Style
Unicorn for Mileage

I you havent finalized yet, then I recommend you test ride the FZ/Fazer, and that too a well maintained one, cause from personal experience I'd say that the FZ's got the best refinement comparing Uni and RTR. But mileage will be an issue. We have FZ riders getting mileage from 30~54Kmpl. So in the end comes to how well you maintain the bike. My friends got a Fazer and has only run about 15K kms, and yesterday while inspecting the sparkplug found small stains of oil, so guess the rings are wearing out, but yet there is'nt any noticeable performance loss's and the bike returns a mileage of 43Kmpl even inspite of my friend being a hard rider. So I hope you get the point.

Re: Which bike "Unicorn or Fazer or Apache"

Hi,

Thanks for all your suggestions and after a long long negotiations and convincing my parents, dad has agreed to purchase Unicorn and we are planning to book the vehicle tomorrow in Honda showroom in Tin Factory location, Bangalore.

As I was riding TVS Flame for so many days, and as there is no RPM in Falme I wanted to know, once after I purchase Unicorn what is the RPM that I need to ride the bike... , what about changing the gears w.r.t RPM etc...have gone through some threads but couldn't find one with regard to Unicorn RPM.
I don't know where the bike ends and I begin...If heaven doesn't allow bikes..I'll ride mine straight to hell.

Re: Which bike "Unicorn or Fazer or Apache"

I bought a new tvs apache rtr 160 model from saibaba sales pvt. Ltd, sr no. 19/2, wakad-hinjewadi main road, pune on 18/09/2013. The vehicle is giving me problems form day one. The initial model that I got was making a squeaking sound so they replaced it with a new model. The new model had the same problem so they oiled and lubed everything and the problem was solved. During first service I told the svc guys about engine noise but they did not give any heed to it. Later when the noise became prominent I took the bike to the svc again and this time they agreed to fix it. They took the bike under engine noise problem. When I came to get back my bike they said that a nut was loose in the engine. They also said that they had to change the engine oil which was absurd as I had my engine oil changed 10 days ago during my first servicing. I had also put an addative in the engine oil at that time. They were charging me for the engine oil again which was absued. I refused to pay. Anyway they said that the engine noise issue has been sorted out so they asked me to test ride the bike. After the test ride I found the same noise again. This shows how incompetent and sleazy the svc guys are. This is a new bike. Hardly a month old and I am having engine noise issues and now the petrol tank makes a noise while going over bumps. I also noticed some smoke coming out of engine when I started my bike in the morning(Cold start). Is it the exhaust gas leaking from the engine? The SVC guys said that it is just grease on the engine that is causing the smoke. I find that absurd because how can grease evaporate and cause smoke when I cold start the engine. I am pretty sure it has to be exhaust gases leaking from the engine as the SVC guys didn't do a good job of assembling the engine back after they opened it
Experts please help. This is my firt bike and I am having such a horrible experience with it. Had enough of svc mechs. Can any one suggest a good apache mechanic in Pune who can solve my issues.
