I guess the avenger street 150 is pretty good according to your requirements. I don't think your height would be a big issue.

      Hello everyone,

I am from Assam, work in railways(group d), am 27 yrs old and short (5.2) and travel a lot on duty by bike. My journey per day ranges from 20 to 120 km which is roughly 2000 km per month.
I am selling my 4 year old FZS tomorrow, (+2 yrs with previous owner), due to mileage issues and maintenance cost , which was a good bike, never let me down. So I need a new bike for travelling in very bad roads, forests and highways. I should also say that it will face sun, rain, cold all and everyday , as I have to work anywhere anytime within 120km distance. I generally drive at 50-55-60 speed.

      My expectations from the bike:

Price- don't mind the cheapest and the ugliest one.
      110-125 cc only
Don't need bajaj, TVs. I like to look at them but not buy
      1. Mileage Any where above 60 is worthy,
      2. Reliability is the big factor as my nature of work is pathetic.
      3. Ride quality/comfort must be good on bad roads/ long journey at 50kmph, less vibrations.
      3. Tubeless tyres
      4. disc brake?
      5. Maintenance cost should be low as can't spend 1/3 my income in bike.
      5. Good pickup for city traffic as down grading from fzs will be pretty hard.
      6.

I searched for such threads but did not find any.

I liked dream yuga, but dealer guys told me that dream 110, yuga, neo production has stopped and asked me to buy livo instead. Crux r not available too.

So, Honda shine- 71000, has every thing but very costly.

supersplendor- 65000, can I add disk break, tubeless? How much would it cost?y

HF dawn/ deluxe- 50000/52000,both questions from above. I like these because of the price. But worried about ride quality and if underpowered. We have to be athletic in work, so backpain will ruin my life if I get any. Any other options are welcomed.
I can't get those dhoom 6 bikes as I am poor.

So, Please give some feed back brothers, I am really in a dilemma here. What do I do. And apologies for long post. Thank you.

Ps- I m not a girl. Don't ask how I got this user name

No way honda dream series just received fresh colours.i think livo generate more profit to the sale person.
I have faced the same situation and just purchased the legendary hero splendor ➕ because even the company stop it's production we will easily find spare parts.looks good right know i am getting 60kmpl mileage @40-45kmph speed, mostly on the highway.

Thanks for your replies. I enquired at Honda dealers at guwahati and other places. They have dream Yuga. Only my service centre is saying bullshit..

And about splendor pro, my first bike was super splendor.. Seat was hard. And continuous driving for 1 hour made my butt hurt. Did you travel long distance with your one??
I reqlly am inclined towards cd deluxe or Honda shine.. I read on this forum that hf deluxe is stiff, and also vibrates, which makes long journeys. I don't have any idea about these things... Do you? Also can u tell how much does splendor pro cost? I have 50000 cash, any thing above 53000 will have to go for finance. So please tell what to do?

If looks are not important for you then you can go for bajaj ct100 model which has legendary engine from the kawasaki and it gives you 10kmpl mikewge than wny hero honda 100 bike.sparepartsbare widely available. I have purchased hero Splendour because my brother is pushing for it.if i have to choose i will definitely go with bajaj ct100 bike and very reliable one.it will give you near 70kmpl@40-45kmph speed easily.you will get more mileage.

They don't allow test drives here. Infact none of them do.. I have bought 4 hero bikes with others.. Multiple times they said you can test drive it when we prepare papers for your bike lol.

How much would passion cost, OTR? I live in nagaon, assam. I have enough to buy a HF deluxe, tomorrow. But above that will go finance.

Dont know exact OTR price but it is going to be atleast 8-10k costlier than HF deluxe.

If you finalised to go for passion xpro.

Then better choose with alloy & disc with self version.
