Hunk is better on highway? Did the hunk undergo gearing change in the digi speedo version? I had ridden older hunk on a long trip and gearing was shorter than the CBZ Xtreme, Xtreme reaches 110 easily on speedo while the hunk takes forever to cross 105 due to shorter gearing. To reach 110 it was herculean task on the hunk so how is hunk better on highway? The CBZ xtreme is much better on highway.

Yeah... It's unique from any other discovers on sale now.

As far as the turning radius is concerned, you can always take a test ride of both variants before you choose.

If I were you, I would opt for the faired variant just for the novelty value. The Discover 150S really looks like every other 4-valve Discover (100M/T, 125M/T/ST) on the road which is not the case with the 150F.

I have already test ridden the f & s variant. I find the u-turn in f is little bit long than s.

That is beacause, it has a fairing and to prevent shockers from touching fairing, turning radius has been increased.

FZ easily does 117kph on speedo whereas hunk takes forever to reach even 110kmph, I found it struggling even at 100-105kmph. I'm not aware of new version of hunk though.

Calling all Quarter/Fully faired bikes owners.
            1. How is the ride for a faired bike inside city traffic?
            2. Can we manoeuvre it easily with two people on board?
            3. Taking a u-turn will be that difficult in tight spots?
            4. Parking the vehicle?
            5. Any other issue for a faired bike?

Will be booking the bike this week.
            Here are your answers:
            1) I own a P220 and it's fairing is no problem even in dense traffic.
            2) It's easy to manoeuvre in traffic even with 4 persons, no problem in that. ( For indicative purpose only 4 has been used)
3)U-Turn isnt an issue, it's better than every car.
            4) Now here is the problem, when youpark the bike amid two bikes, put it on mainstand.
            5) Ride it 2-3times and you will ferl it netter than naked ones.

The last time i tried doing 110 above on fz, it was like taking ages. 112-113. But i dunno how rahul managed 117 that too easily!! And forget top speeds. When on highways, its not like you'll be doing those speeds all the time. If so , your bike would never last long and the ride too would be tiring due to the vibes and the strained out engine. If hunk has a top end of 110 (assume), i'd give no damn to it. Why should i, if the bike does pretty well in speeds of 85-95kmph and sounds great and the refinement remains? That would give me a long enjoyable riding experience. So forget top speeds. See in which higher rpm the bike feels smooth and sounds sexy!

I have no such experience having done knee downs many times with proper gears. P220/Karizma/Apaches all have similar handling.

Need a second bike for a friend who owns RE bullet classic.
Bike will be used purely in the city.
                            Comfortable,fuel efficient,reliable bike needed.
                            Budget upto 70k.
100 cc bikes will do.But not a constraint provided FE is not too low by commuter standards.

Hi I am planning to buy a bike after 10 years gap. Major usage will be office commute of 18 km one way twice of thrice a week. Bikes used in past are rx100, kb 125, splendor, pulsar 150.
I am looking for something as agile as rx and powerful than 150.
Options considered are Apache 180,p220,xtreem. Please suggest which would be a good commuter for zipping between the traffic swiftly and occasional Highway ride..
