Correction. AFAIK P220 is the cheapest bike to maintain in the premium segment. A fellow Xbhpian did a complete engine overhaul @ 50k Kms, replacing the clutch, rocker arm's, cam shaft etc, for a grand total of 3k's. Correct me if am wrong.

I want best bike in 70-75,000/-
          My requirement:-
          1-Cool looks.
          2-decent mileage(about 40-45kmpl)
          3-Handling
          etc.....
If you are investing around 75k then why you want mileage to be as low as 40 ? ? ? you will not get 180+ cc bike in that Range.... (*Period)

go for Unicorn, Hunk or Discover 135i (Very low budget but worth of) ...

Unicorn CB = Decent Look, Good Mileage & Better Handling (City Ride).

and What about etc in that Term? Concidering racing & Pick up i would suggest you to have a Look at Apache 160 or FZ too ...

@ thread starter - you are 5.10, have a budget till 75 k want a mileage of 40+ and a good handling for commute and highway use.

The perfect bike would be the hero impulse as its a really good bike and is a different league in its own way, Though RTR, pulsar are there but its way too common and if you talk about engine the unicorn, cbz extreme and impulse use the same engine so no doubts in engine and again the swing arm, shocks are of good quality and the bike has no issue like vibes or after sales service. And as all of them here know honda engines are bullet proof for years and years, so if you want something which is best fit and surely a eye turner get the impulse in green or blue or black as this 3 are very good colors.

in 150 cc segment the bikes that stand out are unicorn, pulsar and apache,fz.among them apache is my all time favourite, secondly i like unicorn.so what do you like?
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
                  #overkill is underrated.
#how random roads may appear there is always a destination.sigpic
#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

Hey buddy RTR does have a higher maintenance when we compare it with the bikes on his list.

But the problem is, we have no Suzuki showrooms in Lucknow a.k.a. The closest one is in Kanpur.

go for fazer mileage and looks are great
                              mileage around 46-50
the problem with it is the rear tyre, extra wide but you can get it exchanged with a zapper 130 and enjoy more mileage and pride.

Put a little more money and buy fz. I think it's a good bike in terms of look and engine too suits you. Good luck with your search
