So why not a NS200 you will get all your points in this bike.
And excellent feature ABS needed then new RTR180 ABS, Pillion comfort is also ok kind.
Actually pillion comfort is in P180,NS200, P220, Karizma,FZ, SZr

    Any time P220 eyes closed!!!
Only 150cc!! above bikes are <40 kmpl. anything above is bonus.

    Absolutely!!
So here NS200 is a clear winner if you are happy with an average of 35-40kmpl, anything above that is good.

A bit can not be 20K. it's 25% of my actual budget.

I already told i am trying to search this figure primarily below 200CC

Now FZ or SZr this two are within my reach. I will go through some review and TR these two and will post my findings.

      1. Gs 150r i found better than hunk and unicorn for night visibility, with hunk being worst
      2. No idea about the new apache but the previous ones were bit harsh but who cares when one gets a very revv happy engine, to get minimum vibrations just stay above 6k rpm
      3. P180 does everything better than the p150 except for the efficiency part, Now even the p150 comes with DC lighting and both are good with night visibility part. But my pick would be P180 for the better tyres and better chassis and of course a much better engine.

          settle for apache 180
and the question remains why do i race?

I am a GS owner, its great for touring, pillion comfort is awsome and what really takes the cake is the refinement of engine and smoothness, but if u are some who like a pulsar and can even think about going for an apache then i gues refinement is not the top priority isnt it...??
So my suggestion, go for Pulsar... its an all rounder... u wont regret..!!!
              all the best...!!
              ride safe..!!!

Here I Can add about Apache 180 ABS (2012)

You Will get used to it sitting position.
Good Performance ? ? ? well without doubt Bike perform well it outperform others in category for which its known for
ON Braking point i can say its best one available at the moment (few Exception) & if added ABS there is simply no match, Tyre Gripping is something which is not upto the mark, but its not that bad either, lots of apache owner riding it on heavy rain including me, its all about understanding your bike limits.
I am getting Mileage of 50 so as Vishnu.Leo other Apache owner(180ABS)
Night Visiblity .... hmmm I am not comfortable with Stock bulb.
I am in Love with its Fairing & Over all quality though one cannot say about it as it Depends person to person.
Well Apache is for entry level racing i dont think you will get that Smooth Honda engine sound, its meant to REV one of the best Exaust to say rest depends.

Hi Guys just now i came back TR Apache RTR series 160.
                  1. Comfort: it's good. may not be best. i am 6.2" and my knee was little over tank shroud. on funny note i went to SVC on TB and when i sat on RTR my leg went over gear lever. i corrected my posture it's aggresive one. i also tried to go over few bumpers at different speed. it didn't through me out as i experienced with TB.(of course it did but not much).
                  2. Acceleration: it's good. but it's not like vrooom and go. bike is taking some time to come to power (May be new untuned engine)
                  3. Engine refinement: it's sound is very less cmpare to older apache (may be the bike is new), and has very sweet grunt. i rev it hard during (1st gear@5K) i felt vive on handle bar but not on foot peg. i also rev it hard (5K-6K) while on neutral and try to hear engine sound it seems OK and stress free (entry level racing bike). Engine snatching is there if u are on 3rd gear and slow (15KM) and suddenly vroom.
                  4. Braking: i have tried front disk with rare drum i tried i tested with all varient (Front,Rare)(Rare, Front)(only front)(Only rare)(both simultaneously) Quite happy with breaking.
                  5. Tires grip: i am quite happy with new wider tire as traction is better (Atleast dry road). didn't tried on wet road (didn't want to take risk)
                  6. Night visibility: i tested on daylight, may be existing owner can put some light
                  7. Mileage: don't know may be existing owner can put some light
                  8. Overall quality: it's ok ok type. main disappointment was fake carbon fiber on console.
                  9. Look: Picture on web has done injustice to overall look of bike. only headlight does not look good. but if you see it from distance "it's a beast".

[N.B] All are my personal view.

I own a RTR180 for past 1year and 10500kms. It is still in STOCK condition. Here is the opinion
Comfort: It's about getting used to. I have done 390kms at a stretch on the RTR180 and I never faced a single issue except grunting stomach . I felt the 2012 version to be better.
Acceleration: Seriously?? Even now, RTR is one of the best pickup and rev friendly engine in the market. I have done a 0-60in 3.4secs . Only the baby KTM has the "will" to break it
Engine refinement: If you drive a CBR250, you will notice some [very tiny] vibes. If you notice the Unicorn,it is exceptionally smooth. If you ride R15V2, its pretty refined. Compared to these, RTR 2012 version still stands no chance. It's rev friendly and there will be vibes. C'mon its totally under limit and not even an issue as pointed by some high profile MODERATORS here
Just adding, I feel the RTR gear-box is not upto the mark compared to the Hondas or the KTM or the Yamahas.[I haven't ridden a P200NS. Heard its very nice in that]. I had so many issues and all these were gone in a jiffy when i changed to Motul SS Oil. But YES, FALSE NEUTRAL is still an issue for me. The 2012 model again scores better here.
                      Braking: Its spot on. Excellent.
Tires grip: Biggest weakness of the RTR models [inc. 2012 model]. The moment you change to MRF/Pirelli/Michellin you will notice the difference. Btw, you can corner a HELL lot on the RTR even with stock tyres on DRY roads.
Night visibility: It's good in IMO. But not as good as the P220.
Mileage: Awesome here. When i rip [serious RIPPING] i get 39. When i do sane riding i get 46.
Overall quality: The plastics are of OK quality. The New RTR is much better. The paint finish is excellent.
                      Look: It's relative.

Very interesting views! I think its about time I took a test ride of the series RTR 160 myself. I have had one experience with pre-facelift RTR 160 and it was NOT good. While I loved the exhaust, the comfort level was really low. And I am 6' in height. Since you are taller than me and found comfort levels decent, I think I should take a test-ride myself to see if its really improved

From what I understand, aggressive ergonomics needn't translate to bad ergonomics, because leaning forward with back straight is a healthy position.

And the 5-year warranty is sweet

What was the price you were quoted for the Apache Series RTR 160 ? Single disc and double disc versions I mean...
