My comments in blue. Though I am at no place to advice you infact I am in same boat as you are, these are just my opinions. I have shortlisted Yamaha SZR and Suzuki GS150r.. now choice has to be made.

Nice info somen , reading this list.... TVS Flame also looks good and can be spotted 1-2 times someday.Originally posted by somen1984 View PostNothing like that mate. Twister one of the best mileage deliver!! 70kmpl+ there are few more. I guess sling shot also gives a 70kmpl.
There was a chart shared by Antz Bin some where and that chart had much better mileage figures of 100cc .
BTW my Aspire 110cc 12 yrs old gives an average of 65kmpl in city.

So, I am going to take test again for finalizing the things on this friday, I will take the delivery before sharad -
Bikes in my mind are -
1) SZ-r (White color) - 60% ( my liking)
2) Stunner ( Red or Yellow color) - (40% liking)
3) GS150r (White or Blueish color) ( my only concern is about spare parts availability or after sales cost, as not much seen in Delhi)
I hope above two bike will fulfill my requirements which are again as follows -
1) which bike will performed by pulling total weight of 200kgs (Pillion and Rider).
2)
4) which bike having better pickup.. (Keeping our weight in mind)
5) Mileage ??

I have same list as you...minus Stunner ! Concern for GS150r are....they are rare on road, 2-3 years down the line...spare parts availability can be concern. Though, I feel suzuki is technically way advance than Yamaha SZR and Stunner. But.... what to do we technical advancement when you need important spare and its simply not available ? I am from Delhi with huge two wheeler market and here too.... GS150r is rare to be spotted on road.Originally posted by jammbuster View PostSo, I am going to take test again for finalizing the things on this friday, I will take the delivery before sharad -

i have finalised two ...but can buy one onlyOriginally posted by jammbuster View PostHaan yaar, this is true GS150r are rare in Delhi...

. GS 150r and Yamaha SZR. Scales are more tilted towards SZR as it makes more sense for period of 5-6 years that I would atleast keep my bike. It shares same engine with FZ, so spares would not be issue in future.
Have u looked at new CBZ Xtreme ? They are selling in very good numbers and having unicorn engine. So no spares issue....I Guess. I dont have it in my list as I already have CBZ Star in home....Last edited by MoonLight; 09-26-2012, 10:23 AM.

but extreme cost is 75,000 rs on road.. If i need to spend 75,000 rs then why cant i go for p180.... which is only rs78,000/-???
but my criteria is below rs 70,000/- these days...( as short of cash )
But again I dont like hero showroom policy which forces customer to buy helmets of showroom choice.... which was around 700 rs (you can easily buy that helmet from local shops around 300rs).
I just hate this practice.. that why never thought for hero.. though i like cbz xtreme.

P180...though it is a personal choice, but I am not fan of its looks. One cant distinguish between P150 and P180 easily.

Yes by removing banding name "HONDA" also they will call Xtreme by dropping "CBZ" name from it.Originally posted by MoonLight View PostNew CBZ Xtreme...is available from maybe I believe 1-2 months, can see many of them on road. In Navatre...are they launching new new CBZ Xtreme ???

But I always ask one question from my self why i will go for CBZ when SZR fullfil all my requirement its a matter of 11,000 rs more..

Forcing to buy a helmet can be dealer specific pre condition...I asked Yamaha dealer about it and he was ready not to charge for helmet IF I give him receipt of helmet purchased from any shop. It can be managed easily.Originally posted by jammbuster View PostBut again I dont like hero showroom policy which forces customer to buy helmets of showroom choice.... which was around 700 rs (you can easily buy that helmet from local shops around 300rs).
