If you are not looking at high speed commute i.e. speeds in excess of 60+, then certainly you can go for it. It's got a comfortable seating position & doesn't look small on you, but it gets too vibey if you take it beyond 60kmph. Take a look at Discover 125ST as well, coz it's more powerful, got 4-valve engine, so you can expect good mileage as well and it's cheaper too!

Gagan bhaiya... Shoud I close your other threads or merge this one there?

Also please mention what all bikes you have already TRed and reason why you rejected them.

Finally, I hope this sheet will help. Try to get one of the bikes with the higher horsepowers since one very effective way of reducing strain on your back is to finish the commute in lesser time. Lesser saddle-time = less back pain.

      Sirji.. Pranamm...

Actually I am just checking ..... though.. yesterday i had a fight with HEro moto corp showroom.. unnecessary they charging helmet cost which is rs.675/-,..... i told them yaar i already got new helmet & i am having the receipt of the same... but that donkey fellow.. not interested to listen.. so i left out CBZ extreme...

Are you into some kind of city to city tour ???? Kidding bro!!!

Ok now i see mileage more concerned then a bike for 6.2' tall ??

And where are you getting stunner for 60k ??

Go with DiscoverST125, it will suit you and your requiremnt in your budget. with just increasing few Ks.

Stunner is a nice bike too but little expensive what it offers!!

As your long runs are concerned then only 100cc cna help your fuel pockets, 90kms is not a small distance per day monthly it's mamooth!!

Persoanlly i won't suggest any bike higher to 100cc.
      Else your decision!!
Yes very true.. my office staying in Vikaspuri, New Delhi & travelled to Gurgaon one way distance is 32km x 2 = 64km in a day.. plus what to say about my boss.. he always interested to move me here n there for his own personal work.... that's why i said 90km (approx).

Currently using passion pro... it look like using bicycle.. ,...... so thought of move towards 125cc to get more crisp while driving.. actually i like the shape... specially yellow one..

Yes.. I know test ride will be the final thought process.... just i am trying to get feedback from all you experts out there...

As per SC order, every dealer has to provide helmet with bike. Now, how they charge for the piece, is a different thing.

You just seem to be too over concerned, dude! Helmet is not part of the bike. It wasn't sold earlier. Only after SC ruling (which I believe is still better). Now, seat belts are part of car!!
Go to some other dealer which can provide better deal!!

Huh !! When I had enquired for NS last week ,then din't charged anything here in mumbai. Same was the case with KTM too.

If you are sure about the petrol expenses then only go for 180 or 220,becuase you know with in 1 more yr approx fuel will be upto Rs100/liter. Can't trust the system!!

The Honda Shine though less by 25cc's can give the Unicorn a run for its money. Everyone's whose ever ridden it can justify my statement.

Are you talking about initial acceleration? if yes, it might as Unicorn itself is not that fast in 0-60kmph. But beyond 60kmph, Shine produces lots of vibes, if you cross 70 you will get a nice massage, try 80kmph and you will not like to ride it again. (this is my opinion from 1000 odd kms I covered on my pal's Shine and later he got convinced with my argument & exchanged the bike for Unicorn)

Yes, Shine has quick initial acceleration, but vibrations start to creep in after 60 kmph. Shine is just a city bike with very good mileage.

If you are not buying the bike on loan then get your CBZ from that other place. You will get a Temporary registration, which will allow you to come to your own place and get it registered. So problem solve!!
infact self registrations are always cheaper than Showroom. Did it for my Car!
Friend when you like CBZ then don't go for other brand or bike, because later just for this helmet issue you will regret next few yrs after seeing that bike on signals. Just a suggestion

Sales are always showroom based, this is not something illegal my friend, don't know about the Delhi Dude! But for RE last year did the same, when there was a waiting period of 6-7 months for CL350, and i and my friend brought the bike from remote village of maharashtra and booked it in Thane. He gave us temperory registration just to bring it to our city! After reaching here in Thane we registered it. But i guess that t-registration is valid till 48hrs or 1 week not sure!
Bro money is not the matter, but the feeling that you feel. We brought it because we wanted it and can't wait for 6 months or other bike. It's you who will decide whether you go with that showroom or you will opt other way ??? Show room should not have a problem with this my friend, they do all stuff apart from final registration.
