Damn!!! All the while I was confusing the P220F with 220FI
Can I get a 220FI anywhere in the world? Any idea about it's reliability and performance?

Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!

Nope you can get, only second hand...And please mind it, it was a troublesome bike, with many issues in FI..Current P220 is much better than previous one!! more reliable.

Nope you wont get 220 Fi now, Bajaj has stopped its production as they were facing lot of issues with Fuel injection engines thats why they come back on carb which is actually doing good business.

In my opinion decide on your own, now you have got fair idea about each bike (ZMR, P220, 200NS). Test ride all of them, then think which suits you the most and what your mind and heart says, book the bike and post the pics.

Replace the words "I have to" with "I choose to" and notice the difference in how you feel.

Touring also includes high altitude stuffs which is easily handled by the fi.. Also superior mileage of 45+ on highways from zmr.. Its also a good bike for cities and even better for touring... I'd personally recommend 220 for city as it rocks in that part... Like you said, TD a p-220 and a zmr both which have done approximately equal kms.. You'll know which to buy.. Also look at the poll.. ZMR has more votes than any.. Am surprised as i expected CBR to be superior!!Cheers!!
P220 for the city!?!?!? I would really prefer a Discover (150, or 125ST maybe) in comparison!!! The home of a P220 is the Highway. Thats where both the bike and the rider is most comfortable. For the city, I am afraid, there are much better tools available.

Also, tangible benefits of FI in high altitudes are also debatable. My P220 carb did alright in Leh/Ladakh last month. So did RishabH's and Satyen's 200NS back in July. Nothing was unmanageable as such.. I didn't have any startup issues, I was climbing Khardung-la at 70-90kmph wherever there was tarmac (on a single lane mountain road), I was doing 130+ on the straights leading to Leh from Srinagar side, I did Kargil to Leh (235km which has Namik La and Fotu La en route) in barely 4 and a half hours including stops. Thats more than enough speed for the kind of roads over there. I didn't feel the need to spend 15k extra just for getting FI which wouldn't have made my ride any faster/any more comfortable than what I eventually managed. (as compared to say, a P220 Fi)

I will not comment on ZMR because I haven't ridden one long enough to be able to comment, but the P220 is definitely not a city-optimized bike.
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

            Go with the Karizma!!!

Though i ride a Karizma i voted for the CBR-250, only from the Performance point of view.
I see that you are stuck between the P220 and Karizma. Now, i hear that Fi has been discontinued on the P220, besides the Karizma has the better seat (read pillion comfort) More relaxed riding position up front. Lastly, reliability too!!!
So all said and done, go with the Karizma. Period.
