Re: Problems with Pulsar 200 NS

      Hi

This is my first post here from iran

I wonder if any one ever has a problem with clutch and throttle cables ,on my bike both are not in good conditions.

picture that , every time i turn the handle bar fully right the clutch cable kinda stick some where and does not make it's way

toward the engine so the result is you lost free play and when you release the clutch in that specific condition

you have no idea how much of throttle and clutch is needed so you might over reev or quick release and so on....

at the other hand the same story happen to throttle cable .funny it must have a lot of free play just to cause less trouble in a condition mentioned earlier

when i checked the cable it caused an ugly deformation because of being pressed on right turns and has no place to slide so again you loose throttle free play and

in combination of clutch story you just turn like dummy or some one with 2 day riding experience ..hahaha

i just wanna know where should this two cable pass so that they can work properly ...any pdf or documents or photos would help me change their position

I don't trust them here they may solve one or two but they return your bike with some other new issues so not worth a try

The amount of NS users out there in india is so big and i think may be they come up with the same problem

or it is a nature of this bike ...

No I haven't heard of this problem nor have faced it. Try with an independent mechanic who can repair in front of you. Anyways I guess it's a minor problem and will be rectified easily

Are you experiencing this issue from first day of purchase?
Were both Clutch & Throttle cables re-routed recently by you/service-personnel?

Left - Right steering movement should not hinder throttle/clutch inputs.

Nima wants to know how Clutch & Throttle cables are routed on your bikes so that he can do the same and fix this issue. Perhaps a couple of pics might help him.

Re: Problems with Pulsar 200 NS

                  Thanks every one

Actually i am familiar with this kinda services and as you said it is not a big deal but

from the first day problem was there, i was bizi running in the engine and one day i adjusted

the throttle cable free play adjuster the way that no free play feels under my hand (like it this way )

but suddenly when i was filtering in traffic BOOM a close right turn and bike reevssssss

so i turn the adjuster back to first condition and let go for checking point

after that ,making uncomfortable u turns (like i said reeev and jump) made me check the clutch

free play and i found out, turning the handle bar all the way to right leaves no free play on

clutch lever so the problem was not me. at the end when i remove every thing i saw these two act

like they have no where to slide by the way they routed originally from iranian company

so i ask to find the exact way of routing and solve the issue i also buy a pair of these

cables brand new and original in case if needed

                    rear suspension bracket has changed

                    radiator cap also has changed

and finally where to rout those cables.last 2 pictures show that non of them pass beside coolant reservoir

they rout beside the VIN number and go under the frame .....im gonna correct it asap and see

Honestly, I don't know; it should be part of quality check before delivery.

Congrats on resolving the issue yourself.

Wanted to ask how many people have changed the company provided Oil. My bike has done 6k kms. At the 2 nd servicing I insisted on changing the oil (and paying extra for It) but the guy there told me the oil is for 10 k kms. The bike now has developed distinct vibrations which were not there earlier. Pickup and top speed has reduced. I wonder if it's the oil or the ageing of the bike is the reason for it.if any one of you has changed the oil please let me know your experience. Thanks

                              If your bike runs
<3000Kms in six months get 3100 gold 20w50.(300-350₹)
                              <5000Kms in six months get
                              5100 15w50 .(500-550₹)
                              <7000Kms in six months get
                              7100 20w50.(700-750₹)
Note that in case of 7100, you will require to top up little bit after 1000kms as fs oil tends to vapourise.
